In Short
With its enormous sundial and rows of rose bushes out front, the planetarium is a local landmark. Inside, a kid-friendly gift shop--selling sharks' teeth, glow-in-the-dark star stickers, science kits--warms up the crowd waiting for the next show. Behind heavy ornate doors is one of the area's top attractions for adults and children. Most shows are a little bit of education mixed with a little bit of entertainment. Shows rotate and schedules change, so call ahead.
