Love this place, takeout is quick and service is friendly. I've been a patron since 2008 or so, and never had any of the issues described below.

Bad Customer Service and Not so great food!!!. El Dorado had poor customer service and they did not treat me as though they wanted any future business from me. I ordered a taco salad which tasted like it was pre-made and reheated in the microwave. They don't ever have to worry about receiving any patronage from me EVER again.

Pros: The Decor will keep you interested while they figure out who will seat you.

Cons: Taco Bell is better.

I will never go there again!. I've been there several time.Food was good,the waiters were nice.Last time when we were waiting for our food.I saw a roach was running on the floor! It was so disgusting just to think what it would be like in the kitchen.

However,I decided to give this place another chance. I ordered chile relleno and chile plobano.The poblano was good but the chile relleno was rancid.The meat smelled like a bad ,uncooked meat.I had it before at this place and it didn't taste like this.My husband went back to the restaurant and asked for money back. The staff acted like they didn't even care.He went back in the kitchen for like 5 mins and came back told my husband that nothing was wrong with the food. So, it's the last nail in the coffin! with this place!

mexican nono!!. this place has horrible food but is cheap there fried icecream is frostedflakes on icce cream and the serivce takes forever but the waiters are polite and nice although i think they dont speak much english all and all its a NONO!!!

Microwave food. This is not good mexican, but rather terrible mexican't food. The food tastes like microwaved burritos. Ditch this place.

Best deal in RTP. This place is packed for lunch everyday of the week and for good reason. The food is great, service is relatively fast given the number of people there and the prices are unbeleivable. Lunches range from $4-$6 and come with all you can eat chips and salsa. I highly recommend.

Decent Mexican Food. Though altogether not as great as the El Dorado in Cary, it's still good. Sometimes the service at lunch leaves to be desired, but it is very very packed.

Over-rated go to Bandito's. Unfortunately in RTP your choicse are limited as far as Mexican cuisine and El Dorado capitalizes on this fact. The waitstaff is not very friendly and is unable, or unwilling, to handle special requests. I have been there on a couple of occasions, asked for somthing different or to have somthing added and they say they cannot do that. Funny, I was just in here last week and it was no problem. I just do not understand why they would not want to make the customer's experience the best, and consistent evertime. (food and service) The food is mediocre at best. Try Bandito's in Wood Croft a few short miles from El Dorados.

cheap eats. Know what to expect and you won't be disappointed....crowded, fast and great cheap eats. If you work in RTP it is the quickest sit down meal you can grab with co-workers!
