Bustered Service. So i had breakfast there once, food was decent but the service was real bad. Took 20 minutes to even get water. I think there was maybe 10 people in the resturaunt. Guy was just rude. Benefit of the doubt i tried this place again. thinking it was probably just that day. This time for brunch. Was seated promptly and givin water but with no ice. Ask for ice and no go, i waited for at least 10 mins (and again 10 people in there). i had to go get the ice my self from the bar. Was never told the specials that day though i heard them from another server behind me telling another table. After i had ate. Eggs were solid in my benedict. Did i mention they switched my plate with a the table next to me. Just not a good experience. IMO.…
Good food, portion sizes vary. I greatly enjoyed my scallops with risotto. There was not much food with the meal. I dined with a large group of people and those who ordered the chicken dish or a pizza got a lot. Interestingly, their food was a lot less money. Everybody enjoyed what he or she ordered and it was in a neat setting. If you haven't been, I suggest checking it out.…
Great ambiance, Great Italian Fare with Local Flare.... The food's always as fresh as can be while the menu rotates enough to please anyone on any day for any ocassion. I've had large parties there (7-8) and have enjoyed many a romantic dinner there with the wife. The rennovated warehouse with the 20' ceilings makes the restaurant much quieter than one might expect upon first inspection. The wine list is always great and the apetizers are some of the best in the triangle. At least try the warm olives with the bread. Having gone to Panzanella's for 5+ years, we've never had an unpleasant dining experience nor a bad meal. Always good food, always great service.…
Consistently good Italian fare for the whole family..
In Short
The old renovated textile mill is impressive, with its weathered brick, wood floors and 20-foot ceilings. The windows are tall, pouring light into the spacious room. The earthiness
of the pine nuts and greens in the arugula salad is perfectly balanced by the light sweetness of fresh strawberries. Tender duck confit is wrapped in phyllo with cabbage and topped with maple-y sweet dried fig and Madiera.…
Our Favorite. When my husband and I have gone to the effort to line up a babysitter, we ALWAYS go to Panzanella's. The food is great, and I've always had good (if not exceptional service). Once my arugula salad came with way too much dressing; I told the waitress and she brought another without question. As for the wine in a juice glass remark below, did it occur to you that maybe this was a stylistic choice rather than a mistake? (Duh!)…
