good beer selection, Fokker Ale was great. Liked it for lunch and was back for drinks and the game later. Garlic fries rocked! good beer selection and a cool patio with real live trees was nice on that afternoon. lunch food was good, didn't have dinner. busy night crowd with a dj, fun. i'll be back next time i'm at the hill.

Casual atmosphere and a marvelous patio: The epitome of a neighborhood hangout.. In Short
Inside, the bar oozes the feel of a cozy basement hideaway, but the large outdoor patio promises to kick Chapel Hill nightlife into gear on warm nights. Throw in some light jazz or blues playing in the background, and you have a great place to grab a brew and chat it up with friends. Forgo any ideas of fine dining and order something sociable: Creamy crab dip to share, or a burger.

User review by tohperh. It took an hour and a half for two hamburgers.

A Chapel Hill Gem. I've never eaten at Lucy's but I party there alot. Cool atmosphere, live music and always on time. Somewhat overcrowded, but you can always check out the Patio.

One of the worst meals I've ever had. While the atmosphere is charming, the food is not very good. I've had 3 meals there, and they've all left me very disappointed. I've gone back several times, trying something new each time, hoping it would improve, and have finally given up. The pork tenderloin is way over-cooked, and the signature crab on english is a soggy, unappetizing mess. Huge disappointment. Only go there for drinks and music on the patio, not the food.
