We have enjoyed large portions, fast service and reasonable prices at this restaurant. However, I often have an aftertaste when eating fried foods. My husband doesn't share the same evaluation. The slaw is really good but the portion is really small with any meal. Some days are better than others in terms of the quality of the food.

I have been eating here for years. The family that owns it treat YOU like family. I luv these folks. The health grade is always good, the place is clean. It is far supirior to the Mayflower in Hillsborough. The fish is golden brown and generous portions. Watch the founder. Sometimes it is not good. You always have enough to take home too. It is one of the last good seafood spots in the triangle. Too bad about Kemp's.

While I will probably always like Mayflower this restaurant used to be a lot better. The service is decent but the food can sometimes depend on the night. I would say a busy night might lead to better food. The portion sizes are very large.
