Just moved with DC Movers last weekend. What an awesome company, very respectful and showed up on time. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends. I will also be using this company in future moves. Thanks DC Movers for a wonderful move!

Gr8 move. I hired these guys off the last review on here. They did everything they said and the QC guy showed up and obvious was very knowledgable and made sure the job was going well. I have used them before and will use them again.

Good move. Moved with this company for the third time. I was most pleased with the last time. They do something different than before. I have always gotten 3 man crews but now they have a Quality Control Manager who comes out for a while to help and quality control I guess. I told them I like the new touch and I think others will to.

Long move made easier. We hired DC Mover to move us from Durham, NC to WV. The owner came out and did an estimate for us and I felt very comfortable with him and I choose him over two others where I didn't meet the man in charge.

In my experiences owners do good work. If I can get the owner I go with them. We were going to pack ourselves but time didn't allow so we asked if they could do it the day of the move with no previous notice. The owner said he always personally supervises pack jobs and so they stayed til 9 PM packing us and then returned the next morinng to finish and get us on the road.

I had 3 scooters that had to go but I couldnt drain the fuel so I couldnt take them. The owner tried to siphon them, then he tried to leave open the tank to see if it would evaporate over night. I had no idea how to get the fuel out and had no suggestion. I knew I didn't want to leave them and they were already towing my Jeep so they couldn't be hauled. The owner kept at it until he finally said "We are strong enough to just turn these over and pour it out" So they did. I don't know why we got the extra attention or if it is even extra but I couldn't ask for more. Very good, good enought to write this about them even thought I will never move again as I am retired.

Not very happy with the move. I recently moved long distance and had exceptional service with another company. Soon after I moved locally with another local mover. This final move I hired DC Movers because of their three man crew. I figured this would save time. I was wrong. First off, te crew was over an hour late to arrive with no phone call.

Upon arriving I walked them through the place. The move consisted of mostly furniture with maybe 20 boxes or less (on the account I had moved many myself the day prior). The crew took forever. They moved extremely slow and the entire move took an hour and a half longer than the prior move with only two guys.

I did move into a newly built home and the workers had severely scuffed the walls, put dents in the wall (claimed they would have someone come to look at it which never happened) and were very haphazard with the furniture itself (scratches and dings on several pieces). They appeared to have very little regard for my personal property.

I would never use this company again and please weigh your options when deciding to hire them. A

Professional and efficient. I got a full service move from DC Movers. That means I didn't do anything except open the door. My company was paying and I had an estimate done to give to my office. The quote was a few hundred less than the others and I liked the review so I went with company. They came the day before and packed up everything. The owner was there and he said he normally does the packing. They knew what they were doing. They packed it all up in about 5 hours and the next day it took about 8 to move it all. We had a 3000 square foot house and then they delivered it to Charlotte from Fuquay. I have moved many times and found this service to be one of the best I have ever had. I have had some doozies.

Good Move. The movers at DC Movers were great. We moved for 5 hours with the economy move. That's the move where we pack and they move. It went great as I said. I recommend this company and will use them again.

Good service. I moved from Fayetteville to Sanford this weekend. Friday my boyfriend and I were looking at our belongings thinking how much we didnt want to move them but we couldnt afford what movers were charging.We found a flier at our mailbox area in the complex and they had a special advertised econ move $299. Well, we knew that a move from Fayetteville to Sanford could not be done for $299 but we gave them a call on Friday. They said we couldnt get the econ rate because of the distance. I explainded we really didnt have much, a 1 bedroom but it was on the 2nd floor and we were moving to a second floor. The least expensive we found when shopping around was $650 . They came out and took a look and gave us a great price. The movers were fast and friendly. The total was under $500 and I didnt break a sweat. We called on Friday and were moved on Sunday. I highly recomend this company!

Happy with the work. This was my third move with this company. I moved with them with two local stops and the last was a move to Philly. I have been happy with their work everytime. I highly recommend them. The cost was good, the guys were cordial. Thumbs up all around.
