BEAUTIFUL STATIONARY -- PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE!. Where to begin! There are so many great things to say about Salutations that I don't where to start, but I think it speaks volumes that I moved to New York almost five years ago and still buy all my stationary and invitations from Salutations in Chapel Hill. Simply put, there is no better place to shop for a great selection and superb service! The staff is not only friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable -- but super creative! Together, we have come up with party invitations that have had my guests begging me to share my source, which I happily do. Since Salutations' proofs are available via email, it makes it a breeze to work with them -- even from out of town. Additionally, when I'm in Chapel Hill and need a quick, last-minute gift, I can always find something there -- a candle, a cute notepad, pretty guest towels -- and how delightful to have them offer to wrap it quickly at no charge! Indeed, shopping at Salutations is always a pleasure.

Wedding Invitation error. My fiancee and I had a mixed experience in shopping for our wedding invitations at Salutations. On the positive side, they had a wide selection of invitations, and we did end up buying ours there. The staff was very helpful and pleasant through the process, and when a problem was encountered (see below) the person who helped me was very apologetic. Now for the negative experiences. While we did get our invitations printed and asssembled in their "standard" turnaround time of 2 weeks from approving the copy, this was not as fast as we had been led to believe they would be done. And when they were all done, we found an error that had not been present in the copy we approved. The explanation we were given is that two electronic versions of the invitation existed, and the erroneous one was chosen for printing. This was very distressing as we had spent a lot of time designing the invitations, and what we approved had appeared to be correct. Since we did not have time to wait for all new paper to be ordered and re-printed, we had to send the invitations with the mistake on them and hope no one noticed. We were given a small refund for the printing charge of the single portion that was wrong, but this only amounted to about 6% of the total money we had spent and did not feel adequate. So, if you use Salutations for wedding invitations, make sure you order your invitations plenty early and triple-check them for errors when you pick them up.

User review by cdmadison. Great selection and customer service to go along with it, both with off the shelves stationery and custom orders. Custom stationery was well priced and delivered to me on time. I'd shop there again, for my personal and business needs. Definitely had the personal touch of a smaller store which is always welcome.

Outstanding Service. Salutations is the best stationery store I have found anywhere in the USA. The owner and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and accurate, paying a lot of attention to detail. I can visit the store with complete confidence, knowing that my orders for customized cards will turn out perfectly. I also appreciate the helpful suggestions made by the staff as regards design and layout. These people are really on the ball when it comes to invitations, announcements, cards...you name it: anything having to do with pen and paper!

wonderful store. quality invitations and stationary at a variety of prices. I ordered baby announcements and the service was outstanding, turnaround time was quick and the cards were unique.

A Great Find!. Salutations is the best stationary/ little nick knacks shop ever! You will not find more friendly or more helpful women anywhere! They offer great customer rewards (like discounted printing) and have an entertaining selection of invitations for whatever social occasion you may be planning! There are lots of stationary shops in the triangle, but I make the drive over to Meadowmont because I know I'll find what I'm looking for.
