Great haircut, easy to care for!. Carol really takes the time to cut my hair right. She listens to what I say about the style and length I'm looking for and then cuts bit by bit until its just right. Generally, she doesn't do my hair too trendy-- which I'm happy about because I'm not a very trendy person. But when I ask for a more flamboyant style, she provides it. She also does a nice job with styling. I've been her customer for more than 10 years. Prices are very reasonable.

BEST Hair experience EVER. Carol is the best hairdresser I have ever been to! I had a bad experience a few days ago at Aveda in Chapel Hill and Carol turned their mess into just what I wanted, an easy funky "brand new me" hair style! Not only will you love what she does to your hair you will love talking to her about the interesting life she has lived. I am now a customer for life! Go once and you will never go anywhere else again!

Carol rocks!. I moved up here in the fall to go to law school, and I've been dreading the task of finding a hairdresser. I decided to make an appointment with Carol after reading the reviews, and I'm so glad I did! She's so friendly and easy to talk to, and she gave me a great haircut--exactly what I wanted. She incorporated my input throughout the process and didn't let me go until I was completely satisfied with everything. I'm so in love with my hair and have had several people ask me where I got it done. And I paid much less than I would have at a trendy salon. I can't recommend Carol strongly enough--I'm definitely going back!

Rock God Hair. I play in a touring band and every time I visit Chapel Hill--Carol cuts my hair.

The last time I was in town was November and I haven?t had my hair cut since?but I?m coming to town soon?so Carol, you?re gonna have a real mop on your hands. Best Rock Hair Cut for the BEST price! Period.

Great Cut By Carol. I recently moved to the Triangle in September and didn't really know where to get a haircut. I read reviews about this place on Citysearch and decided to check it out.

I was a little scared when I walked up to the little cottage that houses Hair Expressions--I'm a city girl used to ultra-sleek salons--but once i met with Carol and told her what i wanted done, i felt in very good hands.

Thanks to Carol, I got a beautiful cut and blow-out at a fraction of what i was used to paying. Three cheers for Hair Expressions! I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Know before you go: Hair Expressions is in an older "country" cottage next to Dip's and is extremely no frills. If you want to be pampered this is not the salon for you.

If you want a fabulous inexpensive haircut...I Highly recommend

Great Haircut and Color. Great price and great haircut! Who'd of thought that the funky little cottage next to momma dips housed a great little salon? Carol is fabulous!

Great CHEAP Haircut!. Funky and fun atmosphere and a great haircut too! I read a review and decided to check this place out and I wasn't disappointed. Carol is cool and I had a great existential conversation with her. this place is GREAT for men's cuts!

Great!. If you have curly hair...this is the place to come! This salon is also great for formal up-do styles--Corinne did my entire wedding party and we LOVED our hair!!!

Best Men's Haircut In The Triangle. I recieved one of the best haircuts i've ever had by owner/stylist Carol Spangler.

The salon is no frills but is extremely friendly and laid back. I hate it when you go to a salon and you are met with attitude from the staff--this wouldnever happen at Hair Expressions. And to top it all off...it's really inexpensive! Perfect for a guy on a budget.
