This place did horrible on my hair. Everyone was nice and everything but the person who did my hair just wouldn't listen to anything I wanted. She wanted to do what she wanted to do and I could not stand that. I eventually just gave up and hoped she knew what she was doing but she didn't even cut my hair right. She thinned out the top of my hair then left the bottom to be fluffy as i don't know what. I can't even straighten it like I used too. As for the highlights and dying, I didn't really have a problem but the brown she decided would look nice faded! Aren't salons supposed to have top notch hair dyes? My hair honestly still looks the same as before, which was red. The highlights show up every now and then depending on how my hair was flipped that day but everyone tells me they're gray. Gray hair, really? Thanks. She also charged my grandmother over $200 for all of this but she added a style? It couldn't have been the cut because she said "Cut, highlights, dying, style". I did not get a style and the lady said i did. What, flipping my hair over is a style for you guys? That's so dumb. This was my first time here and I will never come back. I'll just do it myself with home products like I did before. Thought trying something different would be nice, but now I've learned my lesson. Thanks for that, Salon K.
Awesome salon and staff! I had never been to this salon. HOW DID I MISS IT? It was near my house and I LOVE the salon and staff! Great color and they helped me figure out what would make me look GREAT and they made a fantastic decision! I went to Mandy. She takes the time it takes to really understand me, then the cut is EVERYTHING I hoped for! I brought pictures, and Mandy said she could do them....she did EXACTLY what I wanted! Thank you! Great salon! Great atmosphere...I will be BACK and telling all my friends!
Change is ALWAYS GOOD! Awesome Salon!. I came to this salon having read many reviews. I had been having trouble with my past color, using one from my previous salon that is VERY VERY popular and well known. The older I have become, the more I have trouble with grey coverage, and I am tired of paying for color that isn't what I was wanting. I am THRILLED to have walked into this salon! Not only are the designers TOP NOTCH with their knowledge, but VERY TOP NOTCH in their team work. I was THRILLED that they only carry what they deem the best products on the market. THRILLED they carry a color line that COVERS GREY and better yet, THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR COLOR. For the first time I felt like I was TRULY GETTING MY MONEY'S WORTH and MY TIME'S WORTH. Their new swedish color line is AMAZING! Rich, pure, DOESNT FADE. I am SO happy with my hair! The color is amazing, and so is the cut. The Manager was SPOT ON with her color assistance, my designer, Connie was SO KIND and SO EAGER TO PLEASE. She was very understanding about my previous problem and extremely professional with her mannerisms. I am a Studio K Salon FAN and BIG lover of their Europeon color line. YAY!
NOT A FAN OF THE NEW COLOR LINE. This is by far the best place in town. Everyone is absolutely awesome. I have been a dedicated loyal client for many many years. Here recently, the owner changed the color line...REF...HATE IT...My hair color is just so different. My wonderful stylist continues to do her job and speaks in a very positive way, but she as well as the Assistant Manager could see there was a problem.
I appreciate your kind words and long term relationship. Sorry that you are having challenges with the Ref europn color line it is quality & offers excellent results/ coverage. Each line has 'challenges' -thus I got rid of the last color line. I would appreciate you emailing me - Studioksalon@nc.rr.com. It is confidential. Express your concerns, let's work together. I KNOW that I have an answer and formula to rectify your challenges. Without knowing your exact and specific issues, it is hard to help you. I made this decision to change color lines with much aforethought. You will be a satisfied customer... no matter what, once we 3 have worked together so we know what needs to happen to satisfy you once again. Great Atmosphere. This salon is great, I will be back without a doubt. I purchased a LivingSocial Deal online for $50 worth of services for only $25. I called in the morning to schedule an appointment for a haircut in which case the receptionist was extremely helpful in making sure I got the most out of my $50 deal, she then got me an appointment that very day! I saw Mandy and she introduced me to highlights which came out amazing.. I have received so many compliments on the new color! The salon was busy and all the stylists seem to get along really well. The atmosphere was great, they really make you feel comfortable from the second you walk in the door. I have referred all my friends here. Best haircut I have ever gotten and great smiles and attitudes all around!
Wealth of knowledge and Great Atmosphere. This is a fantastic hair salon. I went in to this salon without knowing any of the designers, merely walked into this place because they had a sidewalk sign that caught my eye. The receptionist was welcoming and kind, and this place was clearly busy! I knew that with this many people getting their hair done, it had to be a great place. I did have to come back an hour later to (first time they had an opening) but didn't mind waiting at the front desk to get my appointment. I had Melissa do my hair. She is amazing! Great hair stylist. This place offers a vey friendly atmosphere, very obvious there are years of experience in this salon. The designers all looked great, and knew what they were doing I was instantly comfortable, and I am a FAN of this place! Will be back with my two teenage boys and my husband will be coming here too. Both men and women are really comfortable here! Color room is in the back which is also a great plus. I don't like my color done in front of everyone. I HIGHLY recommend this salon!
Great stylists, but reception needs some help. I love this salon. I had a regular hairdresser who left and am very picky as most stylists I have encountered love to go crazy on my hair! Sarah did my hair today and she was just wonderful. Listened and asked lots of questions to make sure they style worked and was what I wanted. Very friendly and personable. Only thing I dislike about this place is the receptionist. She is not very friendly and half the time its like your bothering her. Or she just kind of talks off to the side like your not even there. My boyfriend complained about her too, saying when he went in to get the gift certificate it took her forever to even acknowledge him becaus she was so busy talking. Ok anyway she just threw out my gift certificate without even looking to see if there was a balance on it. I figured maybe she took it (was not much, $7 but still it could be used toward the next time instead of just thrown away.) Then looking at the receipt I saw the balance was still on there. Called and was told nothing could be done if that was the case. I would give five stars if she had better service skills. It kind of makes me not want to go back. I hate getting people in trouble and I'm sure if my name comes up it will come back on me when I go back there.

It should have been explained to you is that the remainder balance of your gift card does remain in our computer system, so rest assured your balance, if any, is still available to you. In all reality, if there was a remainder, the card should have been returned to you. Just a note: we have two receptionists at this salon, and one is BRAND NEW this week. She just began on Monday. If it happened to be the new receptionist, I am sure that the she's very much on a learning curve and continue to grow. I hope this situation with a recpetionist would not harm your outstanding relationship with your deisnger.Again, I (we) apologize for this situation.
Perfect visit, great prices, great staff !!. I had a thermal straightening process done, and Mandy was great. She was so helpful, and offered great advice. The staff worked well together, everyone was so positive and friendly and courteous. The prices were completely reasonable. I will be back !! You can really trust this salon.
VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. This salon has a wealth of expertise. I had a non-formyldahide blowout at this salon and I swear theirs is better than any other brand out there! This is an excellent blowout service and makes your hair feel much better than any other straightening blowout I've had! The consultation was complete and I felt completely comfortable doing this service over my last Brazillian Blowout (which I was dissatisfied with). Connie did my service, but the other designers in the salon are also very friendly an all seem well qualified with loads of experience. Well run salon with great atmosphere. I highly recommend! By the way had a cut right afterward and the cut was awesome as well! Added later, by the way the receptionist is wonderful and friendly?!? Don't know what the previous person was talking about. Everyone here has a great attitude!

I have visited this salon on several occasions as it
is in my neighborhood. Must say that I have been
exceptionally pleased with Gloria who is friendly and willing to listen and fill all my requests - and
my hair is STUBBORN. I've been very impressed
with the entire staff with one exception. The daytime
receptionist needs some customer service training.
She's always reading a book and barely looks up
when you enter. Someone wrote that the owner
talks about communication - well this young lady needs communication skills, a pleasant smile and the ability to greet customers. I've heard from friends that they have not returned due to this one factor. Possibly she is
very shy - but then she shouldn't be in the position of
receptionist. Please make a staff change as I would
like to continue coming to your salon. Thanks. Jill
