country cafe

I had heard about this cafe from a friend and finally had the opportunity to check it out. I really enjoyed making the relaxing drive thru the country to get to it. It was fun finding it and an enjoyable experience for me. Check it out if you're looking for a quaint country cafe w/friendly folks, good food and reasonable prices. I even saw someone from Raleigh there! Someone mentioned that it wasn't smoke-free but I didn't notice or smell any smoking during my visit.
- Pros: good food and friendly, casual atmosphere
- Cons: out in the country but worth the drive

Good daily lunch specials

Chicken on Tuesday, Pork chops on Thursday -- and other good daily specials Monday through Friday. The lemon chess pie is delicious. Like the daily specials, the desserts are available on a rotating basis. Open 5:30 am to 2:00 PM Mon-Sat, plus Friday and Saturday evenings. Good fresh tea -- sweetened or not.
- Pros: Good food at modest prices
- Cons: Smoke can be heavy, especially Saturday morning
