Worst wait staff ever!. I left before the food ever arrived after waiting 30 minutes and never so much as having the waitress check on us. Asked the hostess what was going on and she could not even extend me the courtesy of an explanation. The worst wait staff on the planet. Don't wast your time with these losers.

Worst experience EVER. The servers were obviously new to serving and didn't give two craps about food or drinks ever getting to us. I was there for an hour and didn't get to eat anything. I can't say anything about the food because I NEVER got to taste it

Has become my go to place. Love that it is more laid back at Southpoint. Really great food, especially for the price. Really great daily drink specials. Hard to describe, not quite like any other restaurant around, just a really good feel to it.

Blah... eat elsewhere.. Hostesses were very friendly and quick, server was slow and unprepared, appetizer was good, entrees were disgusting-seafood was overcooked and covered in sauce to make up for its dryness.

The manager came out to apologize for overcooked food and did give a free dessert, he even mentioned they do NOT prepare it there, it was delicous! In essence the best part of our meal were the hostesses and the dessert that had been made elsewhere. Consensus--will continue to eat elsewhere.

Service Better Now. We come here every couple of months. Last few times, the service was pretty poor, but the food was great which kept us coming back. They've definitely made some changes though, and this last time, we had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and frequently visited our table. We also didn't have to wait long for our server, which was a major issue before. If you've been turned off from Rockfish by long wait times and poor service, we'd definitely recommend giving them another try. The fish tacos are well worth it!

One of the best seafood restaurants!. We have been dining at Rockfish Grill for more than two years. It is one of our favorite restaurants for so many reasons. Their service is wonderful (Melissa ROCKS!), their food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is fun. Great for kids, too!

You have to try these: Red Pepper Crab Bisque (best ever!), Brisket Nachos, and the Tilapia Monte Carlo. Oh, and don't forget the Crab Cake Sandwich. You'll never want one anywhere else.

Try it - You won't be disappointed!

Good, non-chainy place. I was there yesterday. Great staff, and some great local beers! It nice to see a place a little less "chainy" @ Southpoint.

2nd Visit not as Great and First...but will be back. My husband and I first visited on a Friday night about a month ago and were sat at a small booth in the bar area. At first we were hesitant about the location but were soon in love. Our server was also one of the 2 bartenders working that night. She was great! She had an amazing smile and was on top of her game. She really took car of us, our drinks were never empty, our order was taken in a timely manner and she was personable. She tended to 2 other tables and a full bar in addition to us. My husband pointed out the number of people who walked through the door who knew her. Every 10 min it seemed she would stop for a moment and scream across the bar "hey love!" or "what's up!"

We returned last weekend and were sat in the dining room. We were sad to not have the same experience. Our server seemed troubled to have us and we never saw a manager. The meal was as tasty as the first time . But we ended the night at the bar. Our dessert was a round of drinks with that same bartender! We felt right at home when the "what's up and where have you been?" was directed to us.

terrible service. We had a small group come in for dinner and the service was terrible. (The restaurant was less than half full.) The waitress brought drinks out at different times and even forgot a few people. The food took forever to come out. It was just ok. People were ordering drinks and it would take a good ten minutes or more to get there. The only time the water was refilled was when it was spilled. The birthday girl ordered dessert and it took over 30 minutes to come out. When it came time to take the checks, the waitress was nowhere to be foumd. We for there for over 2 hours. Definately will NOT go back.

Ok food; horrible service!!. The service was slow and server had a bad attitude.. This was my third time there and my seconf horrible experience...We were 5 and 3 of our orders were incorrect... The service was so bad that we had to almost beg for our drink refills..
