The Sirens Lounge is a martini bar with real character. The circa-1900 building has been renovated to include a rich, red oak bar, complete with a 155-gallon tropical fish tank, a lower-level dance floor and a cozy corner fireplace surrounded by couches. Sip on a Neapolitan martini (dark Godiva, white Godiva and Stoli Razberi) or choose from the wine list.

One of Durham's better bars!. When I first went to the Sirens I was a bit unimpressed but after going a second time, I take back everything I felt. It really is a nice change of pace from going to local favs like the James Joyce and the Federal. It is finally nice for Durham to have a good dance club as well. The drinks are the best I have had. The male batender made me the best martini I have had to date. I really hope this place makes it. It is worth every penny. And thank you to the owner for making a cool hotspot in Durham so my friends and I do not have to travel to Raleigh. Thumbs up to the Sirens.

PS - The paintings are amazing!

The Perfect Mix. Sirens has the perfect mix of wine bar, martini bar, lounge, and dance floor. Draws in a diverse crowd, especially since it's esasily accessed from the nearby campus and from major Durham roads alike. This is one of the hot newcomers in the Triangle!

Begin or End Your Evening Here. I have been amazed with each visit to the Sirens. It is THE perfect place to stop after work and have drinks with friends. This atmosphere is accented with original art, plush furniture in cozy corners, and great drinks. Seamlessly, Sirens transitions from a warm, relaxing cocktail lounge to a hip dance club as the evening passes to night. This is the ultimate place to either begin or end your evening in Durham.

IMPRESSED!. I have been to The Sirens on several occasions and at various times and I must say I am quite impressed. The atmosphere, the music, and the diverse group of patrons, ranging from professionals to artists to students, all lend to the beauty of this unique establishment. It truly is a great place for after work, after dinner or late night hours.

Finally.... ...there is a bar in Durham with the class and style of a "real" city. Sirens is super chic and defiently the place to be seen on the weekend. Cigar smoking afterwork during the week is a must. The paintings on the wall are fantastic and I got caught staring at the fish tank more than once. What a cool building. Parking gave me pause, but no fear there is a huge lot just across the street. I highly reccomend...Thank you Sirens for giving us this treat. OH and try the Ipanema Martini!!
