Chamas - great food & service. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a variety of meats and who would like to experience a new culture. The Service was top notch and the food was bursting with flavor. You can dress up or down depending on what type of mood you want. My friends and I had an outstanding time!! :)
Great food, friendly staff, beautifully decorated.
I've only been here once but it was extremely good...the meat was delicious and the salad bar was so varied I could hardly decide. I'd say the one was that one skewer of meat they brought over was so undercooked there was red animal juice dripping off it and it got on my dress and my friend's pocketbook...it also caused everything on my plate to be swimming in watery red fluid, which is not to my taste, but the staff were quick and apologetic when I asked for a new plate. It is very pricey, but for the amount of food you are offered, it's worth it.
The actual restaurant is beautifully decorated, low-lit, lovely floors and a great overall atmosphere of calm and upscale dining.
low carb diet dream dinner place. I have eatten at chamas more than 6 times over the past year. I find the service outstanding on most occasions. food quality good , many type of meats , chicken, sausage, filet of beef, ribeye steak, lamb, e tc.all you can eat. Value is one of the best in town.
bad service.
bad bad bad
dont go there. bad food. bad service. bad price.we were party of two and no one helped us for 20 min
Neat Concept But Expensive. I've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse and I'm glad I experienced it. Don't know if I'll ever go back, though. In terms of positives, Chamas is fun. It's totally different than other restaurants. Most of the meats were delicious. Unfortunately, the same cuts often came out cooked totally differently. One cut of beef was barely rare while 30 minutes later, they brought out a well-done portion of that meat. Something in between would have been much better. Another negative is the cost. It's $35 per person and we got drinks at $8 a pop. I recommend people trying a place like this once but it's not a place you go to on a regular basis.
Worst Brazilian restaurant ever. disapointment!!!!!!!! made a reservation four months early, and when we got there we only had one server for 40 people, it was a total disaster, we didn't even get to taste all the food it look like they did not wanted us to be there, we had to serve our own coffee and the cakes we order they never arrived.
Chamas Rocks, Food is flavorful, lots to choose from!. My husband and I love this spot...it's got a great atmosphere, great service, and the food is exceptional. It's one of my favorite restaurants in this area. Highly recommend!
Perfect for romantic dinners for two to huge celebrations!. After eating at Chamas several times and falling in love with it, we decided to have our wedding reception there and it was the best place we could have chosen for our big day! Ther huge salad bar (complete with hot pork and salmon dishes, a variety of fresh grilled and marinated vegetables, and an assortment of delcious cheesesto name just a few) pleased our crowd tremendously and they also loved the spacious and inviting bar area. We loved the way the staff worked so hard to make sure that every detail of our big day was absolutely perfect, so we didn't have to worry about a thing except enjoying ourselves. The warm atmosphere in Chamas was also the perfect backdrop for our reception. All of our guests are still raving about our reception--from the food, to the beautiful decor, to its charming location in Brightleaf Square. And we can't wait to go to Chamas to celebrate our anniversary every year!
Great customer service. The Best in Town!!! That's it. The only reason I joined City Search was to give this review. Visit Chamas ASAP.
The Best Brazilian place in the Triangle. If you want authentic Brazilian Food you need to go to Chamas. Once you have eaten there you will realize there is absolutely non-comparison possible to others. The chefs at Chamas are Brazilian and the place is owned and operated by two Brazilian ladies. Check it out for yourself!
