It's worth the wait!. Bocci is a great Italian restaurant that I would recomend to anyone looking for good food, great atmosphere, great service, and reasonable pricing. The pizza is outstanding and very homemade. My recomendation would be to try Nonni's Pizza (a variation on margherita pizza) and if you're looking for a tasty pasta dish, the Marsala melts in your mouth. And Bocci has the best calamari I've had in ages.

The atmosphere is cozy and homey and the waitstaff are very prompt, responsive, and personable.

There is usually a wait on Fridays and Saturdays, so come early for a good seat. Their pricing is not unreasonable, less than $20 for any entree, and they have a great deal on dinner for two (I think it's Thursdays and Sundays, but call to be sure) that includes wine and everything. I have been there three times and am going back tonite to celebrate Valentines Day. Try it! It's definately worth it!

This is our neighborhood restaurant--where they call us by our names. We've been coming here almost since their first day open and absolutely love it! We've never had a bad meal. More important, the staff treats us like family. Sometimes we're here for a quick meal, other times a long night of dining and talking amongst ourselves, while the staff meets our every need. We bring other friends here frequently, and they too have become "regulars." Tell everyone you know to try it out--but don't take our corner booth!

I hesitate to admit how really great this place is.....because EVERYONE will want to be there!. We stumbled on this place by accident - it's in a shopping center off Fayetteville Rd north of the mall, so it's not the sort of place that leaps at you. BUT....what a gem worth seeking out! The service was great - we were sitting at a booth facing the courtyard, and the atmosphere was wonderful! We were there on Saturday night, and the trees were decorated with twinkling lights, which made for a nice view. People were talking, of course, but we could still converse comfortably without shouting. The menu was very authentically Italian with a great selection. I chose the Carbonara, and I have to say, it was the best I've had in the state! Portions are HUGE, prices are very reasonable, and leftovers heat well (which is one of my personal quirks, admittedly). The desserts looked yummy, but we were too stuffed to try any.

Incredible pizza!. Normally, I am not very fond of pizza and only want to eat it about once every couple months. My husband sampled this pizza at A Taste of Durham and we couldn't wait to try the restaurant. Definitely the best pizza I have ever had! We ate the Nonna's pizza 3 times that week!

Best pizza I've had outside of Italy. I was introduced to Bocci by some friends and have made it one of my regular spots to have a great dinner and glass of wine. Their pizza rivals any I've had in the U.S. and is better than Lilly's by far in my opinion. The staff and management are great, the prices are reasonable, and Monday nights they have half-price bottles of wine! This is a great place for a date night, to have a good meal with a group of friends, or to sit at the bar and watch the game. Try the risotto and calzone as well!

Best Pizza in the Triangle. I tried Bocci's pizza at a Taste of Durham and it was seriously some of the best pizza I have ever had. We love the restaurant and it has become one of our favorites in the Triangle.

Best Kep Secret. I was shocked that this gem was located right down the street from me. Pizza is awesome, service is great, and always a place to sit. Now that the weather has turned nice, the outdoor dining on the lawn is great. Highly recommended for those trying to survive the onslaught at Southpoint.

It was okay.... The service was good, but the food was only okay. I ordered a pasta dish that had seafood in it and while the sauce was good, the shrimp and scallops were definitely overcooked. Additionally, I was unhappy that I was paying $18 for this dish that wasn't quite as good as I hoped it would be. Other members of my party were also unhappy with how thier dishes were cooked.

Unexpected pleasure. My husband and I wanted nice meal after work and decided to check out Bocci's. Service was excellent with a varied menu. We shared the extra-large Nonna's pizza with sausage and it was wonderful! The flavorful pizza had an excellent thin crust and there was plenty left over to take home (also excellent re-heated at home). I highly recommend this place!
