Best in NC!. I read an article that Brian wrote for the Durham-Herald about golf performanec and called him the next day. That was the greatest decision I have made in a long time!! I am 70 years old and love to play at least 3 rounds of golf a week (when the weather is permitting). My swing has been getting shorter and shorter the older I get. Brian helped open my hips up and strengthen my core. I am now playing better then my sons and feel great! He has made me aware of faults in my posture and has helped improve my stance. Best trainer in NC!! Every state needs one of him!! I wish I could carry him around when I play all over the States!!
Best training team in the Triangle!. This place is awesome!!! Brian, if you hadn't been so easy-going and encouraging, I wouldn't even have considered training at all! Meredith, your support, kindness, encouragement and knowledge have helped me to stay consistent and make progress. Both of you lend to the safe, friendly, fun environment at the gym and I honestly looked forward to every workout. Because of what you've done for me I do breathe easier. I also feel great!! And I see new possibilities for my life all the time! I can only hope that Chicago has something as great as ActivEdge! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to all!!
Golf conditioning at its best!!. I have been working with Brian for the past 2 years and have noticed a tremendous improvement in my golf game! He has helped to develop a consistent swing by keeping me flexibile while making me more powerful and strong throughout. I have been training for years without these kind of results. Prior to seeing him, I was training with someone else that was supposedly helping my game. After only the 3rd visit with Brian, I was already leaps and bounds better than years with my other trainer! I look forward to great years ahead and a possible team title for UNC golf!
Duke Women's Soccer #1!!!!. Brian has been helping me ever since I was a scrawny little 8th grader. He has helped me develop my soccer skills and build my speed and agility up to what it is today (which we continue to work at on a daily basis!). After playing locally for CASL Elite and Riverside HS, I chose to go to Duke and have continued to use Brian to help with my development. My ultimate goal is to win a National Championship at Duke and be a team leader my junior and senior years. Brian helps me accomplish that!
Helping Duke beat UNC and win a National Title!. Brian has been helping our girls for the past 3 years with excellent results. As the quality of players at Duke has gotten better and better over the last few seasons, Brian has worked hard at getting them ready for the demands of ACC soccer over the summer. His program that blends strength, conditioning, injury prevention, and skills/field work is right on par if not better than our own programs at Duke. I will continue to send our players there and encourage all local talent to give him a try!

Professional help with knee. I first sought Brian's advice on my aging knee. Not only did he work with his hands on the soft tissue, but he also provided some great insight and guidance in developing a strengthening program. My knee feels much stronger and I have started to run again! He also put me on a general conditioning program for upper, lower, and core strength. Whenever I am in town, I make a point of getting in there!
Footwork. When I sought Brian's services at ActivEdge, I was a senior at Jordan HS and just finished varsity tennis. I needed help getting off the baseline and quicker footwork when reacting to an opponent's shot... we were able to improve all of these and more in less than 6 months. I have since transitioned to tennis at NC State and am continuing to do alot of the same exercises here, as well. I wish more coaches at the high school and private level could see what Brian could do to help with fitness. A MUST!!
Excellence in Soccer Performance. We have been using Brian's professional expertise and specialized skill set in developing our soccer athletes at UNC. He work with several of the local NC players year round as well as the players that stay here for the summer sessions. The players that use his services are much more prepared physically for the demands of Division I ACC soccer. I strongly recommend his services for those at the highest level.
Soccer Skills and Performance. ActivEdge has really improved my overall athletic ability and strength and conditioning! Brian also works with me once a week on soccer skills, helping me achieve my goal of playing in Division I soccer... I have made tremendous improvement over the past 2 years and attibute alot of this to Brian's dedication to making me better!
