Not impressed. I was not impressed at all -- and I did not even get to a treatment room for services. I went by to see about scheduling a massage. Two ladies were sitting and chatting with legs crossed and arms folded. When I asked about scheduling something, I was told they no longer provide massage. When I asked about a facial, I was told the aesthetician was going to be on vacation awhile. No one bothered asking if I wanted to schedule something for when she reurned. They seemed to have a lot of skin care prodcuts around, but no one seemed to be knowledgeable about them.

Horrendous Restalyne Mistake. My recent experience with Carolina Medi Spa may cost me a long term facial disfigurement. The restalyne was injected under my eye, a treatment I had had for years there, but since the spa has become like a factory an assistant did the treatment. She injected in the wrong spot and the restalyne is now "floating," visible hard nodules under my eyes. This has persisted for a year despite the Spa's claims it will diminish. I have since sought the expertise of a well known plastic surgeon who said it is not correctable by surgey. Another practitioner has begun giving remedial injections and said that the Medi Spa should have corrected this problem which was evident immediately instead of telling me to "wait." The spa offered me $550 to sign a waiver of future liability and also acknowledged the error that needed correction! I refused to sign and they have turned this over to their insurance company. Shocking treatment of a long standing client.

Best place I could find for cosmetic skin treatments. I live in Richmond and was looking for a good, reputable place to offer laser skin surfacing (mainly to address some acne scarring and discoloration). After a lot of research, I decided to give Carolina Medi-Spa a try, because of their special offers and ability to schedule me for an appointment the very next week. My visit far exceeded my expectations. The staff was super-friendly and I received an extended consultation both with a registered nurse and a doctor. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and well cared for. It's fantastic value, too (they have some of the lowest prices on Fraxel and IPL). Even though it's a three-hour drive from here, I will only consider Carolina Medi-Spa for my skin care needs.

Great Find. I am from Atlanta but my Aunt lives here in Chapel Hill, I wanted to do something nice for her on my recent visit so I decided to take her here and she loved it. Thanks guys for being so accomodating to us on such short notice she greatly appreciated it and loved her facial too.
