Above average. I got the GMC sandwich which is a chicken sandwhich with roasted pepers and a pesto spread. The bread was a baguette, though it's normally supposed to come on Ciabatta.

It was pretty good, though I feel that I could have Easily made this myself and was disappointed after spending almost $10 for the sandwich and reading otherwise good reviews. Perhaps I should have gotten another item on the menu as there seemed to be other interesting options.

I was disappointed, but will go back and give them another shot since so many other people swear by this deli. However, the outdoor dining at Sandwich is a plus on a nice day.

If I'm in the vicinity of J&J's deli I much, much prefer the prices, taste, and quality of food there.

Best sandwich in the Triangle!. They are only open 11-5 as of 5/2007, but I go out of my way to eat at this incredible deli. I am addicted to the tuna sandwich which is freshly poached tuna, applewood smoked bacon, herbs, fresh tomato, and fresh rustic (?) bread from Weaver Street. I have never had anything but great food here and I have visited over 20 times! Fresh ingredients and creative blends of food make unbelievable sandwiches to make Panera, Subway, Quizno's, etc. all jealous! If only this were a chain in every city I travel to...

I will miss this place as we move to California in the next week... :(
