Expert management! The property that the take care of is in good hands. I sincerely appreciate their ability to handle tough situations as well as accurately handle the more tedious accounting aspects. I am very pleased with them.
DISHONEST PEOPLE! STAY AWAY!
This management company is comprised of dishonest incompetent people. They took over the management of the apartment complex I was living in for two years and problems began from the very first day they took over. They lost the first month's rent I had paid after they took over. After repeated emails and visiting their offices, they finally resolved this matter. The two years that I renewed the contract under them, they always tried to add clauses in my lease that I had never agreed to earlier. Very sneaky and dishonest of them.
Their maintenance man was supposed to change the air filters in my apartment every 3 months. Repeated complaints to the management didn't heed any results. When I finally threatened to leave, they hired a company to change the filters but constantly held their ground that the maintenance man, Phil, had been changing the filters.
Then, recently, 3 days after a maintenance request, I got robbed of my jewelry. There was no sign of forced entry. I wanted to talk to the management/landlord about moving to a higher floor, putting new locks, etc. So over the period of 2 weeks post robbery, I tried to schedule a meeting with the management. I went to the office 6 times before I got to meet someone. They kept cancelling my appointment and sending me back.
After I finally left the apartment at the end of my lease, they took my security deposit with the excuse that they had changed the locks to my door, I had not changed light bulbs, and had moved appliances from their place. Seriously! By the way, after trying to talk to them for days post-robbery, I finally told them not to bother changing the locks to my door as I had moved into my friend's house until the lease was over.
They were an extremely unkind unprofessional immoral group of people. They never answered the phone or email. They constantly kept threatening to take me to court if I didn't pay my rent. I never once said that I would not pay my rent, even after I was robbed and stopped living in the apartment for fear of worse. They are terrible people and no one should rent under this horrible management.
Louise Beck Properties Inc has been a wonderful manager that has provided us with a great deal of peace of mind. That in itself is invaluable, as well is the service.
In the time I have worked with them they have proven to be a very competent and diligent management. In comparison, my previous property manager was far less so. They are doing great and I look forward to a long business relationship.
It has been a pleasure dealing with the folks at Louise Beck Company. I'd use them again.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Louise Beck Properties has awful, incompetent service. They do not return phone calls or emails. They do not send time-sensitive forms on time. They screwed us over with an "early marketing agreement" and now we are stuck paying rent on 2 apartments for 2 months. ALWAYS communicate with this company's incompetent employees in writing to protect yourself down the road. I gave this company 1 star because Larry the maintenance man was consistently prompt and professional.
