Delicious. Pay no attention to the laughably moronic bad reviews..
I'm distressed to see three such ignorant and negative reviews of this lovely small Thai place. Slow service
can happen at any restaurant, and frequently does at overrated, ludicrously expensive
places which do not seem to suffer one whit from their miserable service, pretentious food, and
rude staff. Thai Lanna, on the other hand, has attentive, friendly staff, a chef who grows
her own Thai herbs and who comes out to talk with the customers, and subtle, delicious
mixtures of flavors. There is nothing greasy about this food, nor does it bear any resemblance
to anything one would ever have in a food court. The mixture of spices is impeccable, unusually
refined, and delectable. Please pay no attention to the reviewers panning this place; it is obvious
that they have NO palate and have never tasted real Thai food. as one who has visited Thailand
more than once, I can assure you this is genuine Thai cuisine.

Avoid at all costs - slow service, poor manners, greasy food.
My gf and I visited this restaurant on the advice from a friend. We placed our order at 6:30, and by 7:30, it has still had not come.
They put a lot of people ahead of us and never said anything. We noticed everyone who came in after us were served and we had nothing, so we asked the waiter what was going on. Only when we asked did they say anything. They just smiled and said they were sorry that those orders made ours take so long. I told them I wasn't happy having to wait so long for food, and all they would do was stand there and say they were sorry.
We felt like we were very poorly treated, and left with a very bad feeling, our evening ruined.
The bottom line is that if they will not take care of you at Thai Lanna, they do not value you as a patron, and could care less how they make you feel about eating there.

Best Pad Thai in RTP.
I've been coming here for years and the service has always been fantastic. It's very popular with the lunch crowd so it's almost always packed around noon so try to get there a bit early if you want to be seated right away. I highly recommend the pad thai like so many other reviews. Tell them to make it 6 star spicy if you can handle the heat. =)

Watching a rock grow would been faster!!!!.
I had been to this restaurant a couple of times prior to today and had decent experiences. After today, I will no longer visit Thai Lanna. I went with a co-worker. We arrived at 12:05 and were brought beverages and salad soon after. That's all we got. We left after an hour. No one even addressed us. It will not happen again.

Not the Best Thai in the Triangle (By a Long Shot).
It is as though this restaurant has given up. The tired atmosphere, limited menu, and mediocre food are all consistent with what you'd expect from its strip mall location. I thought that the menu options sounded interesting, but in the end were rather boring combinations of flavors. My friend had the red curry which was so unbalanced that she could not taste any flavors over the red pepper spice. I had something with a very long name that I had never heard of, but which turned out to be cold hard broccoli encircling chicken in a plain peanut sauce, which was also luke-warm. Thai Lanna would do very well in a food court mall.

Great Thai food, yummy!.
The food was awesome. So yummy. I went there the first time and ordered Pad Thai. Loved it so much went back two days later. The servings are large, but it was so good, I ate the whole thing. Reasonable price for lunch, but it does get VERY busy.

Best Thai in the Triangle, great service, gets busy at lunch.
You won't find better pad thai in the Triangle. Yum cai (extra spicy) is also very good. Heck, no one's ever had anything not good at Thai Lanna. At lunch, food is hot and quick, but the place fills up early. If you have aspirations of eating at noon, better get there at 11:50am. For dinner, it's very quiet and romantic, and never busy. The owners are super-nice and although the food is a bit more expensive than other restaurants, it will never leave you feeling like you didn't get your money's worth. Spring rolls are also fantastic. This is rapidly becoming our favorite take-out destination!

GREAT PAD THAI, CROWDED PEAK HOURS, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
A great place to share an out of this world dining experience. Food is full of flavor and even the drinks, a hot honey-ginger-lemongrass tea, are tasty and sensatiable.
