Tips for Wingstop

Bad customer service. The Wing Stop at Southpoint Crossing used to be one of my favorite places, but not anymore. Bad experience there today, it's one of those places where the staff will not look at you and act as if you're a bother. The only exception is when Cliff is there.

The last 3 times I have been there, my order was wrong.

I hate to see this decline in service that will keep me away.

Get the Cajun Wings. Everybody else who has written a review seems to have had bad customer service but I've always had good customer service at the Hwy 54 location (the MLK location is a different story). Most of the time the same people are working and some of them go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The guys in the kitchen usually throw in an extra wing or two with every order I've ever had. The wings are done the way they should be and the guys in the kitchen even will mix up a couple off menu wing flavors upon request.

The food selection itself is limited but I'll always come back from the Cajun wings & their fries. The Cajun wings are one of the best wing flavors out of everywhere I've ever been. I only wish they had a wider selection of flavors. The Hickory Smoked Barbecue & Hawaiian are alright but their Teriyaki is not very good at all.

I'd recommend Wingstop especially considering Durham's surprising lack of good wing establishments.

terrible. This was my first and last experience at this restaurant. The cashier was sullen and clearly unhappy in her job; No greeting or otherwise acknowledgment of my presence until I said something to her. She was cursing people she worked with under her breath and having some words back and forth with her manager, both of which were pretty unprofessional. Okay, I can *maybe* put up with all that if the food is good. Oh, but it got so much worse! The wings were quite undercooked and the wing sauce was pretty sparse. The fries had freezer burn and were under-cooked as well. We ended up just throwing most of the meal away after a little while. Needless to say that $30 is gone forever but never again! Avoid this place.

Horrible Customer Service. I went to Wingstop on Martin Luther King Parkway once over a year ago and had such a horrible experience I would not go again until about a month ago. I told everyone I knew not to go there. And they are in the same shopping center I work in. I went again with no incident and thought it might just have been a onetime bad experience. So I went a third time and it went just as poorly as the first. I left feeling so angry. Each time I called they put me on "hold" aka setting the phone down and chatting with each other. They nickel and time your for sauces on the wings. NEWSFLASH most people want sauce on chicken wings. They charge your for the order before you've checked it and realize they didnt put the sauce in there and then want to debit your card 55 cents for their mistake. Incomplete orders. Overcharging for mediocre wings. Unapologetically rude and incompetent employees. Absent management. Do not go there unless you want to leave at best dissatisfied and at worst enraged.

Terrible customer service, average wings. We placed a to-go order one Sunday. I was looking forward to the wings because my friends from the WEst Coast raved about the wings and strips. The wings and chicken strips were average, but my greatest concern came when we got home and we realized that we did not receive the dipping sauces that were to go with our package. I called and the general manager began to yell at me, call me ridiculous and told me that if the sauces were that important, why didn't I ask about them when I placed the order. I contacted the owner and all he was concerned about telling me was that most people don't want the dipping sauces that come with the meal and that was that. No apology for how rudely I had been treated. If you want to be treated fairly and with respect, I definitely would not go to Wingstop.
