Great customer service.
Hello,
My name is Jennifer Lloyd and I am the owner of U.S. Lawns of Durham. The statement that is listed as a review is incorrect. We have never had any complaints from our clients and could provide a list of references. We instructed this homeowner on how to resolve the issues in the backyard but they were not willing to take our advice. We simply did what the homeowner requested and know they are not happy. We found out that they went to another landscape contractor and hired them to do what we recommended in the beginning. If you have any questions please contact 919-572-2287. Thanks.
ACTIVELY AVOID- INEXPERIENCED/UNPROFESSIONAL resulted in COSTLY repair of work. Was hired to extend yard and lanscape edge. Outsourced 16 tons a top soil to extend yard to which trees and shrubs were then planted on. Owner was not present during work and minimally supervised project. Overtime and after rainfall , extended land heavily eroded and huge horizontal crevices were created resulting in uprooted trees and shrubs. Owner was notfied, days-weeks delay in on-site observation. Owner stated he could fix problem but suggested to sod the backyard to help the problem. We agreed. Day of sod installation owner then told us he would be unable to fix problem so we refused sod. Shouting match errupted. Brought in other landscapers who said he used improper materials, should have used clay to prevent major erosion since a retention wall was not being used. Per contract owner guarantees trees for 1 year. SInce they were going over edge we asked if he would move them to the more stable land on the sides, he then wanted to charge us $100/tree. Now we are faced with costly repairs due to a landscape "salesman" and his lack of knowledge and experience. Would obviously never use again and am pursuing legal action.
