Don't go to Ashley. Ashley was unwilling to listen to what I wanted. She cut my hair the way she wanted it. Therefore after growing my hair out for several months it is short again. Very head-strong young lady!

Since Yelp decided to delete my new review for this place, I will post it here...Meggan was amazing at Destenee Salon. I ended up booking the appointment last minute and the staff was very courteous in scheduling me in the same day I called. I went in to get some waxing done and I couldn't have been happier with the service. She takes her time and her attention to detail is impeccable. If anyone needs waxing done, please go see Meggan at Destenee, you will not be disappointed!

Latrelle is the best!!. I have been to Latrelle twice for waxing including a bikini and a Brazilian. As a clinician I value clean work areas, and being educated on what is being done to me. Latrelle is meticulously hygienic, has a very sweet disposition that immediately puts you as ease, and lets you know every step of the way what is going on. She made me feel very comfortable from the start, and will be the only person I ever let wax me. If you want both great customer service and a great wax, this is definitely where you need to go.

An excellent salon. I came to Bobbie with "over processed color" and a bad haircut. She quickly corrected both. Now my hair looks the best it has in years. Destenee is a beautifully appointed salon. I look forward to my monthly visits. I would highly recommend Destenee to everyone.

Best Salon in Chapel Hill. After my hairdresser of 10 years moved, I tried Destenee Salon, and I couldn't be more pleased! I've been going here for over a year now. Bobbie, the owner, is the best I've seen with color services. My hair is in better shape than it has ever been! If you're thinking of making a change, you won't be disappointed with this Salon, and Bobbie!

Fantastic. Never had a disappointing experience. Haircuts, colors, and styling are always what I wanted. Nail and spa experiences have been amazing. Love the staff there.

desperate. Just recently moved to this area, went to several local salons and sadly very disapointed!. Decided to try Destenee and OMG!! Hamza was AWSOME. He gave me the best cut and color ever. Hamza was very professional, told me what my hair can and won't do and cared about the health of my hair. I am dedicated to Hamza, He is thee best in Chapel Hill!!!

Great service, happy hair!. I first went to Destenee because a friend bought me a gift card there. I booked services with Whitney and was excited to receive my first ever color treatment--highlights! I also planned to cut off 9 inches of my hair to donate... so we are talking MAJOR TRANSFORMATION here. I had just finished grad school so it was TIME.

Whitney couldn't have been a better person for me to see. We talked through my planned changes, she made some suggestions for color, and we got started. A couple hours later I looked like a new woman. The hair cut and color looked amazing!!!

I've been back several times since and never disappointed. Whitney and I have great rapport, and I've been very pleased with her service. Even though prices are a bit high for me (still in the student-budget mindset!), I feel it's great value for money and would highly recommend Destenee!!!
