I went to see Kim for the first time this past Saturday for a Brazilian Wax and I have to say I was very impressed. She was extremely professional and very thorough. She took her time with everything and made sure I was comfortable. I was also very impressed with how meticulous she was. This was truly a first class Spa experience. Thanks Kim!!

I also have been seeing Ashley for over a year for hair cuts, etc. She is WONDERFUl!! She always listens to what I want and is very patient and always in a great mood. Such a pelasure!! Thanks Ashley!

I have been going to barbers my whole life but wanted to change my hairstyle completely, looked on google for places, and came across Destenee. I'll be honest- I made sure I told my friends I was going to do something manly like work out or fight bears, and when my beard found out we weren't going to do those things, it wasn't very happy. But I made an appointment with Carlos "el Maestro de Tijera" and came out of that place looking so fresh that strangers just started high fiving me. I even had a missed call from a number I didn't know; I think it was Sofia Vergara, but let's not jump to conclusions.

I'm sure their competitors are also very good, but Destenee was $13 cheaper than anything else I found online. The ladies were all wonderful and very nice, Carlos listened to my crazy concepts for what I'm looking for in a haircut and just knocked it out of the park, and they do all of the cool spa stuff of washing your hair and giving a head massage. Plus, Carlos had tons of advice as to what hairstyles I can do with this cut and what products to use (I ended up buying one of the gels they sell there.

In conclusion, before I head out on a lunch date with Sofia, this place is awesome and well worth it.

A couple weeks ago, I had a WONDERFUL bikini wax from Destenee's new esthetician, Kim. It was the best I have ever had. Kim is very pleasant and is very gentle. She also is through and leaves me feeling great. I have tried other spas in the area that specialize only in waxing, and this was by far the best. Next time I will also schedule a full facial. Sorry I am so slow to post this review.

This is my very first review, and I had to actually take the time to do it because today I had an AMAZING experience with Kim Ashley. She did a fantastic job waxing my eyebrows. She was very pleasant, professional and her massage was great as well. I highly highly recommend going to this Spa and particularly seeing Kim!!

I had a massage by Jason and it was amazing. I have periodic problems with my back and have never had relief. Jason's massage relieved all my pain and really helped me. I know this sounds a bit weird and "new-age", but he really seemed to transfer his "energy" to me. I could not believe it, but it really worked. Jason at Destenee gets five stars.

excellent experience. I had been to Destenee a month back for a hair cut. I must say that I had an excellent experience both with the hair cut and the staff there. My hair cut was done by ASHLEY. She was amazing. It was really easy to explain her what I wanted and she did exactly what I asked for. I confess I scared her a little bit in the beginning but she was very considerate and understanding of my needs. She made me feel totally comfortable and took good care of my hair. She answered all my questions regarding hair as well as helped me find answers to questions related to general beauty. The ambiance was awesome at DESTENEE. I would recommend every individual who is specific about hair cuts to definitely visit destenee.

Great Haircut for Men. A half year ago I've moved into the Research Triangle area, since then I've had a couple of haircuts by Ashley. She's not shy to give you her honest opinion; and thus far I've never been disappointed by the result.

Brittany is wonderful!. I got my hair highlighted and cut by Brittany earlier today. She did a great job! She went above and beyond to achieve the look I told her I wanted. She's also very sweet and easy to talk to. The salon has a great atmosphere & friendly staff. I highly recommend this place & Brittany!

Friendly warm service and a good haircut too. Bobbie is warm and friendly, so it's a pleasure to spend a few minutes with her while I get an excellent haircut. This is a good place, the only salon I patronize. I think you'll like it too.

FABULOUS!!!. I was referred to Ashley by a friend of mine for color and a cut. She did a GREAT JOB! I always have reservations getting my hair cut because it is mid length and I am growing it out and I am always scared the stylist is going to chop it off, but Ashley listened to my concern with this and did a wonderful job. She is very kind and easy to talk to. Highly recommend this place! :)
