The best tofu soups in town
by searchx
My wife and I love this place and it's a shame to see so many negative reviews about the service. The food is authentic Korean, not "Americanized" for Western tastes. If you come here, get the tofu soup and BBQ beef combo. Watch out when you tell them you want your soup spicy! I grew up in a largely Korean populated town in New Jersey and was suprised to find a place like this exists in this area. As for the service, it is what it is. I go there in the evenings and have never had a problem waiting.
- Pros: Authentic Korean tofu soups, wonderful atmosphere
- Cons: It's never packed!
Very pricey for the small portion size

The Korean barbecue had a good flavor, but the portion size was very small. Received lots of grissly bones with skimpy pieces of meat attached to it. Some bones had no meat at all while other bones had knotty pieces of fat attached. Underneath the bones was a pile of raw onions, which made the plate look more generous than it was. Spent $18 on the meal and left the restaurant hungry.
- Pros: Clean restaurant and tasty food
- Cons: Food was terribly overpriced and Korean beef portions were boney and skimpy.
Good food... Inflated Prices

Great food, though like others have said, the authenticity is questionable. Stil, if you like Asian food, you will like this place. The lunch bento boxes has a bunch of varieties. However, the price is on the expensive side for lunch (yes, even for RTP), and portions are too small for a guy to fill up. Some items from their regular menu can get really expensive (like their Korean BBQ) for the amount you get.
It does have a very impressive environment though. The outside looks like a normal Asian take-out place, but the inside is furnished like cozy small dining room with Korean influences (wooden decors, Korean dolls and paintings, korean newspapers as window treatment).
I don't really have a problem with Service the few times I went there. However, I've only been there during the non-busy hours during the day.
So, avoid it if you're looking for authentic food or cheap eats. But do go for the yummy asian food and the environment.
- Pros: Food, Environment/ Decor
- Cons: Inflated prices, Small portions
