Tips for Performance Subaru

Amazing Service Department. I have had my car serviced at Performance Subaru for 7 years and I am continually impressed by the service. In particular, I feel as though they are trying to spare me from making uneccessary and expensive repairs.

They give me an honest assessment of what needs to be repaired immediately, what can wait a few thousand miles and what is optional. How many mechanics tell you that they can fix that noise, but it is probably not worth the money because the car is perfectly safe to drive?

Great Service Department. Fantastic service department. Service reps are on top of your repair, responsive and caring. Actual service is always fast and perfect as long as you make an appointment first! These guys are always busy so don't expect do be able to do a walk-in.

Great experience with Fred at Performance. Fred is the best. I’d highly recommend both him and Performance. On the advice of a friend, I decided to look at the Outback and I’m very pleased I did. Fred made things easy. I had emailed the store and they called as well as emailed immediately to tell me they had it available and asked when could visit to try it out. When we arrived at the store, Fred had it ready to go. We arrived around 10AM on a Saturday and we’re on our way home in our Outback by early afternoon… and that included going out to eat while they detailed the car. Not bad. I had tried another local store, but all I got back was an email asking what I was interested in… after I had picked exactly what I wanted from the website! Luckily, Performance had the same one in stock.

Great Job Performance Subaru!. My experience at Performance Subaru was amazing! One of my friends said that they had numerous great experiences at Performance Subaru when they bought their Forester and at the service center. Performance Subaru not only met, but exceeded my expectations about what a service experience should be like. Tom, the Subaru service advisor I worked with, was very helpful and friendly. He was happy to help me determine what services I needed done that day on my 2008 Outback. My car was serviced very quickly and was clean whenever I got it back. This has been the smoothest experience I have ever had at service center...I could tell that the people at Performance Subaru knew what they were talking about when it came to Subarus and truly had a passion for the Subaru brand! I look forward to taking my Subaru back to Performance Subaru from now on!

WORSTcar buying experience in 35 Years of buying cars!. Dealership was recommended by an associate. The dealership owner is very reputable but apparently is not aware of how his employees lack of "Integrity & Accountability At All Levels" as stated in Corporate Core Values have been compromised.

Initial contact with dealership sales rep was cordial as you would normally experience. After test drive and follow-up, an agreed price was met and order process initiated. Promise of VIN would be provided in a couple of weeks from order entry. Never heard back from the sales rep. so I initiated contact to find out the delay of providing a VIN. Rep responded that one had not yet been provided and is checking into it "regularly."

Twenty-eight (28) days had passed and NO update or contact from the dealer rep. Once again, sent an email requesting update. Rep stated within the body of the email that as soon as the vehicle was built, a VIN would show up and estimated arrival date would be forwarded to me.Thirteen weeks had passed from order placement without ANY correspondence update from the rep and was not at all pleased with his lack of communication. So I initiated contact once again and another email was sent clearly stating the timelines and displeasure of how this rep was representing the dealership (mind you this John is supposedly their Senior Sales Rep). All of a sudden, I get a call the same day I sent my last email stating that the vehicle I ORDERED arrived. So after 13-weeks, the vehicle arrives without warning. If the uncertainty of not knowing when a specifically ordered vehicle would arrive was not enough - HERE is the kicker boys and girls: The sales rep calls back and informs me that the vehicle I ordered that had finally arrived is NOT as I specifically ordered. It has several more options installed which amounted to almost $2000.00 additional cost. Obviously they wanted me to pay for the additional options (classic bait and switch or my vehicle was never ordered and this was someone else's car - imo. How else do you explain it).

Performance Subaru's initial blame game was on the Japanes builders at the factory.....RIGHT. Kids, the Japanese are spot on in their build and quality, HIGHLY doubt they are going to install additional parts that was not on the build sheet. It just does not happen. Nice try Peformance Subaru Sales. Waited thirteen weeks for an incorrectly configured car. Their apologies were hardly sincere. There is allot more to this cluster __ck, but I'll just leave it at that.

Got my deposit back and have thus given my business to another dealership.

Performance Subaru's BBB rating has to be adjusted to reflect their TRUE lack of Business Ethics and Customer Service.

Buyer Beware - you have been warned.

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. THESE PEOPLE ARE SHAMELESS. THEY ASK FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR USELESS "REPAIRS" EVERY TIME WE WENT FOR AN OIL CHANGE. THEIR LABOR IS PRICED AT $120/ HOUR!!!! THAT IS MORE THAN SOME DOCTORS MAKE!!!! THEY ARE FULL OF S I-I II T!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T EVEN THINK OF TAKING YOUR CAR THERE.
