I was driving by on 15-501 when the German flag sign caught my eye. I went in to check it out. OMG this is German beer heaven with at lease 15 on tap. I am a Spaten Optimator lover, I had a liter and a Schnitzel small plate with cost $8.99. it was as good as in Germany. Great beer, excellent food great service. I will be back.

Love this place!. Great, authentic, and unique food. Wonderful beer selection! Enjoyable atmosphere. Service was excellent with useful suggestions and very attentitive. Looking forward to my next trip!

Good food, Terrible service. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is excellent. However, the service was terrible and we will not go there ever again. We waited quite a while to be seated, even though the place was otherwise empty. The server was surly and argumentative. My husband had ordered the "Funf" burger--which was described as coming with lettuce, tomato and onion. When it came out, there was no tomato nor onion on the plate. My husband asked the server for the tomato and onion, and the server said, "No." My husband said, "Look at the menu! This comes with tomato and onion." The server shook his head and said, "We don't have that." My husband said, "Where's a menu? I'll show you that it says it comes with tomato and onion." The server went back to the kitchen and came back with about a tablespoonful of chopped tomato and onion. Presentation of the food was very poor, with no attempt to make the plates attractive, but the food itself was very tasty. To top it off, when we got the ticket, we saw that we had been overcharged for every item. Did they think we would not check? The ticket was sent back to the manager, and when it came back again, the prices had been adjusted to the prices listed on the menu. We did not leave a tip. I believe that this place will go out of business, in spite of the attractive ambiance and good food, simply because of their terrible attitude and treatment of their customers. Don't go there.

Wundersch. I love good German food! It's here, it's reasonable and its very traditional.

To the devil with French food, this wonderful German place has a lot going on.

I'm not sure where the recipe's really originated, but I have had great German food and this ranks with the best.

My family is full of great cooks. We therefore have a very high standard that has to be met. The Bavarian Brathaus will rock your taste buds!

Where to start? I had the tomato salad. It had some very nice blanched onions added to nice firm perfectly sliced tomatoes and a dressing that brought things together quite well. This is quite a satisfying dish. It was simple in content but big on taste. Yes, you could taste the tomatoes and the onions together and alone. the dressing didn't take away from the vegetables but added just the right touch. I have just about copied this dish at home, but I'm not quite there.

I had the Sauerbraten. It was fabulous. My wife makes this dish at home. Hers is so good it can bring a tear to a born and bred German. The Brathaus version is pretty close. I loved it.

We all shared a bit of each other dish. That's what is nice about having a family that loves and cooks good food. We all put our two cents in. It helps everyone improve their cuisine. I tasted the Goulash. Now this is a dish that some call Hungarian, some Swiss, German and on and on. Wherever it originated, it is a find blend of beef, spice, a bit of red wine and other ingredients that satisfy that comfort food need we all have. The Brathaus version was quite good. It wasn
