Signatures of this fast-food breakfast and burger chain include Made from Scratch Biscuits and the Thickburger..
In Short
The first Hardee's opened as a walk-up burger restaurant in 1960 in Greenville, N.C. Today, the fast-food chain has locations across the United States and is spreading internationally. Big, beefy burgers--like the 1/3 pound Thickburger--are the stars, along with sides like fries, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Breakfast offerings range from Made From Scratch Biscuits to Big Country Platters: biscuit, pancake, eggs, hash rounds and choice of bacon, ham or sausage.

Very slow service; not as good as other locations.
In general, I like Hardees but this location of Hardee's in Hillsborough is one of the worst fast food establishments I have patroned. I have been to this Hardees 3 times over the past 4 months. Two times for breakfast, once for lunch. All three times I used the drive through to purchase my food. The fastest I have ever gotten through the drive through was 10 minutes, and that was at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon with no one else ahead of me in line. On one visit my order was wrong. On my most recent visit (the lunchtime 10 minute drive through experience) I ordered only a tea and a double cheeseburger. Ten minutes later I received a burger that was barely warm. The cheese wouldn't even melt on it. Had I not been in a hurry to get home, I would have returned my order. BTW, the sweet tea doesn't even taste like tea, it tastes like a ton of sugar diluted in water. I would stay clear of this location of Hardees.
