We've gone to Nice Price for a long time and love it. They have a huge collection of used books, music, and videos. Everytime we go, it's like a giant treasure hunt. The prices are great and they are always willing to look at things you are willing to sell. You can get lost in the store just browsing at all of the books and music. Do yourself a favor and check this store out if you are a music or book lover.

Nice price sells books and CDs, albums Dvds and VHS. You can get money or credit for your books etc and buy more. Be sure to check buying times before you go. They give decent prices and will take most current standards and some academic stuff. Wide variety of music. Shelves well marker. Shop is small but fully packed and staff knows where it all is. You have to look for the store - it's not on the street and parking is limited, but worth the effort. PROS: packed and you can buy and sell CONS: limited arking, back from road

Nice Price Books is a great place to get brand new looking books at half of their retail price. Nice Price not only carries books, but also lightly used DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, cassette tapes and records of all kinds. Everything is neatly organized by genre, and you could spend hours just perusing the book section. It's also a great place if you're looking for more unique, less conventional items such as a Boyz II Men fanbook, beautiful art books, and CDs from locally popular independent musicians. One of the nicest things about Nice Price is that it's a local shop where neat types hang out. While the hordes of UNC undergrads crowd into Schoolkids on Franklin, a more mellow and diverse clientele can be found at Nice Price, since it's slightly hidden behind a studio on the border of Carrboro and the Hill. There's limited parking directly attached to the shop, but Carrboro public parking is about 2 blocks down Main St, and it's a nice stroll on the sidewalk. Nice Price welcomes dogs.
