Chapel Hill's Best Pizza. Pepper's is one of my weekly lunch spots and I always look forward to the experience. Great service and food. Pepper's has the best pizza in the area.
Not your Father's pizza shop.
I'd go down the street to one of the better run shops to eat and just come to Peppers for some people watching - the new address still attracts a few eclectic folks.
Many pizza shops in Chapel Hill are known for quality, others quantity and some for service, but Pepper’s is not one to follow in other's foot steps. On the up side - the employees really seem to be having fun “working” ;-)
Worth a 45 Minute Drive.
My family and I live in Wake Forest, and often drive the 45-55 minutes to get to Pepper's because its by far the best in Raleigh, Durham,. or Chapel Hill.
The only one that comes close is Randy's Pizza in Durham.
We love Peppers!
Great pizzas. This is a great date spot. The pizza is yummy and always made with fresh ingredients. Even a simple pie impresses. Also check out the staff making pizzas in the front window.
Thes best of the best. If yon want delicious pizza, great mood music and to be served by great looking, smart, charismatic people you should go to Peppers, its thest pizza place in the entire world
they need to cook the calzones longer. love this place but lately the calzones come out undercooked - this has happened a few times now in a row
Even idiots like pizza. The pizza at Pepper's is pretty top notch. It is the only pizza joint I know in Chapel Hill to offer a good selection of tasty beers and an incredible array of toppings. The staff are nice and work their fingers to the bone when they are slammed. With that being said I find it surprising that Toddtheblog, the fine clean fellow that he is, would make the statements about Pepper's that he did. It would seem that this gourmand likes the finer things in life. A nice bottle of hand sanitizer, Mom's freshly pressed slacks and the sweet sounds of the Harvard Glee Club. The only thing creepy about Pepper's is the fact that there are people like you that frequent it. For those of you who like cultural landmarks and awesome food to boot...check out this Chapel Hill fav.
Skanky place, skanky people who I don't want touching my food. I guess if the pizza arrived by a thrid party delivery service to my home, and I did not know it came from this creepy place, I would eat it.
Good Pizza - Good Price.
Good service and tasty hot pizza. Nothing fancy, but a solid place to go get a slice.
Seemed clean and staff was friendly. There was a problem when a homeless person came in and tried to panhandle and the staff asked him to leave. The homeless fellow challenged the manager to a fight and was screaming profanities. This was not a good thing in a restaurant filled with families and little kids.
incredible pizza. you definitely do not want to miss out on their amazing pizza - delicious! - but if you're intolerant of loud music (heavy metal) take a set of earplugs... best pizza in chapel hill by far.
