This hip, modern bistro popular with UNC students is a far cry from the typical red-checkered tablecloth pizzeria.. In Short
Not your usual pizza joint atmosphere, Pepper's features local artwork on the brick walls and caters to a young, hip crowd. Pizzas are the main draw, but specialty pies include calzones and stromboli. Although all pies can come with the basics--pepperoni, mushrooms, etc--this is the place to expand into ingredients like andouille sausage, broccoli and green olives.

simply the best.... ...pizza place downtown CH. Perfect before hitting the local bars. The atmosphere is great, the service excellent and the slices are big. My fav' is the Luau but you have plenty of choice. Ah, no desserts... Anyway, it's just an awesome place ! and don't miss the artwork on the walls.

Absolutley Excellent!. This place is awesome! Love the pizza, love the employees, and on top of that, the atmosphere rocks! The place is filled with local artists work, which makes it a lot more interesting! Good job Guys!

Pepper's is the best!. Any time I have a friend or family member come visit me at school in Chapel Hill, a trip to Pepper's is a must. No one can beat their calzones and strombolis and their pizza is absolute heaven. I highly recommend their white pizza.

MMMM..........PEPPERS. NO QUESTION....BEST IN THE TRIANGLE AREA, IF NOT MY FAVORITE IN NC.

Best pizza in the Triangle. The pizza is incredible, topping selection great. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to order custom slices-a rarity. Skip the rest, go for the best!

Pizza with a Chapel Hill flare. Yes, the staff may seem like they should be extras in an Alice in Chains video, but the pizza is AWESOME! They will make you a slice or an extra large pie with any and all toppings available. My favorite is a white pizza with spinach, feta, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and black olives. Try it, you will like it.

Best thing going. This is easily the best pizza in the area. Great selection of toppings and quality ingredients. Beyond the pizza, the salads and calzones are great alternatives. I recommend getting a whole pizza rather than slices (much better) though the slices are fine and everyone can get their custom ingredients.
