Expect a warm greeting and great service at Mina's! Easily the best hair stylists in the Durham-Chapel Hill area, and the salon itself is large and welcoming. Every stylist I've had has understood my needs and worked hard to meet them, including asking colleagues for assistance getting the best look. You'll never leave unsatisfied.

If you're visiting for the first time, set up an appointment with Lane-- he is incredible!!

I have been seeing Lane at Mina's and HIGHLY recommend him. We started with a long talk about my hair, what worked and didn't work. Then, he did not just CUT my hair, he DESIGNED a look for me. Not only did it look better than my hair has ever looked, it is so easy to style that I barely think about it. I used to go through the day fussing with my hair and checking it constantly, but now I can style it in the morning and forget about it. It looks just as good by the end of the day. See Lane, you won't regret it.

Best Brazilian wax in the Triangle? Ask for Kati at Mina's! Want a clean, smooth, young looking skin? Ask for Kati at Mina's! Prices are a little on the high side, but it will worth it. You get what you pay for! For someone who need special attention to skin, her expertise is going to be an excellent match! I highly recommend her services>

I have been going to Mina's for a few years, off and on. But this year they hired Lane, a wonderful stylist with great knowledge of cutting, coloring and products for my hair. Lane is one of the best stylists I've had for several years... I've been to so many stylists in the area but have never received such great cuts and color as I have with Lane. He's just the greatest! If you are looking for a new stylist, visit Mina's and ask for Lane!

I have been to several hair salons in the Triangle Area and Mina's by far as out-serviced them all! I have always had a very pleasant experience here. I have curly hair and have always been very picky with my haircuts. Sheila does a magnificent job and always has the best recommendations for my hairstyles! The front office staff has always been very friendly and helpful over the phone and in the office. They respond very quickly to emails and their online service is great! I also cannot rave more about the barista Matt! His lattes are AMAZING! :)

Great color & cut from Maria!. I can't say enough great things about Maria. She is an absolute expert with color! She also gives excellent, flattering hair cuts. On top of all of that, Maria is super friendly and she gives useful advice on what to do to manage your hair at home. So helpful!!! I highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed. :)

Great Experience!. My husband thought he was getting a great hair cut before. Then he went to Lane at Mina’s and was so impressed that he begged me to come in and see him too! I was not let down! I was ready for a change and Lane gave me exactly what I wanted. We did a complete color change and cut my hair short. He talked me through the shades of red we were looking at and picked the perfect color. Last time I asked someone to take me darker they put a ton of foils in and I walked out with 4 colors of stripes repeating all the way down my head…plus I was just a little darker blonde than when I walked in. What shocked me even more was the owner of that salon inspected my hair before I left and said it was fantastic (he advertises himself as a stylist for celebrities). I complained a couple of times to the person that did my hair and she said ‘Oh, well we can change it next time you come in.’ Of course I had no intentions of coming back after that. Lane fixed my hair for me and he even checked in a few days later to make sure that I was happy!! He honestly cares and wants you to be happy with his work!! I also like the fact that Mina’s is a full service salon. It is about a 45 min drive for me to drive to Mina’s but I am going to keep making that trip!

LANE is AMAZING!!!. Even though I live in Raleigh, I followed Lane to Mina's when he moved from a studio closer to me because he is just a wonderful and talented stylist. He knows what I want for my hair and also makes suggestions for subtle, more updated changes, and he incorporates them slowly from visit to visit so I can grow more comfortable with them. I had an appointment yesterday, and we have been talking for about the past four days about a new direction for my hair, and he talked me through the whole thing - from color to cut to how to style it myself. I have never trusted a stylist more - EVER. When I walk out of there, I feel like a million dollars and everyone gives me so many compliments. I have always been told I have beautiful hair, but I have not ever known what to do with it until Lane. He is simply THE BEST. I wish I could post a picture to this review to show everyone just how good he makes me look! Get an appointment with Lane NOW before he's totally booked up! And you'll totally enjoy your time at Mina's - the entire staff is so welcoming and friendly!!!

BEST SALON IN THE TRIANGLE. BEST SALON IN THE TRIANGLE! I followed Lane, the little bald guy, from his previous salon to Mina's because I love what he has done for my hair and I know several other people that feel the same way and also followed him to Mina's. He is very talented, listens to me, and has great ideas but isn't at all pushy. Most of all, he has integrity. Love the atmosphere of Mina's too; everyone is friendly and the owner is very personable. It's clear that her employees like working for her!
