Can't get my oil change right... :(. Went in for an oil change in my late model Volvo. Multiple people worked on it at once. They did the work in about 20 minutes and off I went.

Unfortunatley, I discovered leaking oil on my driveway the next morning. I took it back to them and told them it was leaking. Note- my Volvo has a protective shield beneath the engine area. They looked at it very briefly and stated it was because they had forgotten to "clean up" or rinse off after changing my oil. They ran some water down the engine compartment and said I was good to go, but they never removed the shield to see if there was a leak!

Here it is, the next day, and I have even more oil in my driveway. I am going somewhere else to finish the job and figure which seal/gasket is missing. Quality is not a priority at this place.

Also, I may have gotten my "oil change" free if I ever get the promised refund. We'll see if that ever comes through from corporate- apparently they can't refund it themselves at the local shop if it isn't on the same day of the oil change!

Ruined my friend's car. To be honest, I have used this Jiffy Lube location (and others) without incident. Then again, changing oil isn't rocket science so you wouldn't expect any problems. However, I have recently been witness to this company's incompetence and uncaring attitude towards its customers. A good friend of mine took his car to this Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change. Long story short, they drained his transmission fluid and doubled up on the oil. Within one mile of the store, the transmission was destroyed and Jiffy Lube refused to admit responsibility. After 6 months of going without a vehicle and jumping through legal hoops over this case, my friend got nothing back from Jiffy Lube -- not even an apology. After watching this situation unfold and how this major corporation treats its customers, I will never give Jiffy Lube my business again.
