I would say I visit Pantana Bob's at least once per week...at least I did. The place was very busy the last time I visited. After waiting for several minutes (normal in a college town) the bartender finally asked me what I wanted. I told him 4 bottles of Bud. Then, as he was finishing with another customer, I asked him if it would be chaper if I just got a pitcher. He went OFF on me. He started yelling about how rude I was and how it was my fault all of the people in the bar were so obnoxious and on and on and on (there was an MBA event there that evening and I guess he thought I was responsible for thier behavior). I was so shocked I started crying at which point he laughed at me and told me if I weren't so rude he wouldn't have had to yell at me in the first place and that I should have let him finish helping his "regular" client. I will never go back to Pantana Bob's and I urge everyone else to go elsewhere as well. They are rude, disrespectful, and do not deserve any decent person's business.

I've never been to Pantana Bob's, and now I never will. I'll set the scene: It was a rainy Sunday evening and I was meeting a few friends at an establishment across the road from Pantana Bob's. Unfortunately, the tiny parking lot was full so I was forced to look elsewhere for parking. I didn't want to go far because I had two girls in my car and I didn't want them to get soaked after our meal. Pantana Bob's parking lot was completely empty. Not a car in the lot. In fact, it looked closed. I parked my car and went to eat. The bar tenders, who must have been either bored or just bitter, called in a tow truck. A few of the bar tenders then harassed me, made fun of me, and called me names as I dealt with the driver. They seemed intoxicated and demanded that the driver force me to pay the full $150 after he offered to only charge me $50. Now I'm just a college student, so that's pretty significant amount for me. I could tell the tow truck guy was embarrassed for having to do their dirty work. Anyway, I guess I learned my lesson, and I shouldn't have parked there. It's unfortunate that some people are just plain mean. As a student at UNC, it's likely that I would have visited Pantana Bob's with my friends. I know for a fact they've lost many potential customers. Not a very good way to run a business.
