Good show selection. Love to see live music? Then this is the place. It's easy to get to and has a wide variety of people that go to shows there. Check it out.

If you're looking for a place where the bartenders are friendly and the music is great, look no further..
In Short
It's not exactly the kind of place where you can dribble dinner on your steppin' out clothes and still go anyway--not exactly. Local 506 is aptly named as it reflects local flavor and flare as well as anywhere else in the Triangle. The crowd is mixed and the music usually is too, but nothing beats this club when the genres of choice bounce around its two dark, often smoky rooms. Local 506 is famous for its Alt-Country/Rockabilly/Southern Rock.
