Not satisfied with body massage. This was my first visit to a Massage Envy. The guy ended the massage (it was a full body one) 10 minutes early. And the massage wasn't that good either. I don't think I will go back there again.
Massage Envy in Chapel Hill is fabulous!.
I have been to the Chapel Hill location since it opened, and it is wonderful!
Originally I went to the one by Southpoint mall, and that was variable. Some massages were great, but some were so-so and even awful, and the place was always overbooked and overcrowded...very zoo-like.
But I have been sooo happy with the Chapel Hill location. The young women at the desk are sooo sweet and efficient, and the waiting room is nice and quiet. And the therapists are wonderful! I have had massages all over the countries, at various spas, etc., and the best massages I have had are here! My massage therapist I always go to is Jing-he's amazing! But Aaron, Danshel, Greg are also fantastic. And to get these massages for such a great price is such a blessing for someone like me....I'm a graduate student at UNC who doesn't exactly have a lot of money, but I'm super stressed, so this is a great option for me! :)
Pros: Fabulous front desk, lovely ambience, great staff, great prices!

Good Price, but Talent Is Variable.
My first appointment here was wonderful. The masseuse used just the right amount of pressure (which, for me, is A LOT) and managed her time well ( I got extra focus on trouble spots, but she still
did a full body massage).
My second appointment was not satisfying. I couldn't get the same masseuse, and the one I did get was absolutely unwilling to 'dig in', despite numerous requests of mine --prior to massage and on the table-- to please use more pressure. She did not manage her time well, and the 'full body' massage was unfinished when the 50 minutes was up.
Now I'm not sure if I can trust the front desk to recommend the right masseuse for my needs, versus glossing over my questions with "They are all wonderful; they can all do that." Still uncertain if I'll return.…
