BEST Customer Service in TOWN and many vegetarian options!. So, my mother is VERY hard to please customer service wise and she is also a vegetarian. When she makes the trip to my house for a visit it is often daunting trying to find someplace besides Foster's that she would enjoy. And I have learned not to take her to my favorite places because she will often make a scene over what she considers poor customer service and embarrass me to the point that I can not show my face in the establishment anymore...

That being said, one day I took to her to Noodles & Co. It had just opened and seemed vegetarian friendly. In fact, everything on their menu is vegetarian unless you choose to add the tofu/chicken/shrimp to it. So that was awesome!

It is fairly inexpensive, but then, when you consider that it's just noodles you think, hmm it should be cheaper actually... until you get your meal! Then you realize the ingredients are all top notch! The food is DELICIOUS and we have NEVER had poor customer service there! We now go ALL THE TIME... I even had my rehearsal dinner there for my wedding on 9/16/11!!!

As an example of their exemplary customer service, on the night of my rehearsal dinner, I thought we were going to experience one of my mother's famous 'scenes'... her tofu was burnt in her pasta cavatapi. She told the waiter this and insisted the cook knew it was burnt and didn't want to recook it and served it to her on purpose. He asked if she wanted a new bowl but she said no, because everyone else had theirs and was eating and she didn't want to wait to eat, she would just push it to the side. I am not sure why she didn't cause a scene this night... it could have been that it was my big night or that we'd been there dozens of times with no complaints whatsoever and maybe even MOM realizes people make mistakes but she didn't say anything more. The waiter pulled a coupon for a free meal from his pocket and handed it to her and apologized. My mother was placated but still not happy... but THEN, a few minutes later, he arrived with a to-go box with a fresh pasta cavatapi inside and told her to please enjoy it later at home and apologized AGAIN. My mother actually smiled and was HAPPY again. Normally burnt tofu would ruin her evening but she was actually PLEASED with the way a business handled her complaint. This was something I'd never witnessed before and I also have to say that they did handle her complaint with graciousness.
