Boycott this insane place. there are two murderers on the wall. Fidel Castro is an oppressive tyrant. To try and make the Cuban revolution trendy is absurd. I thought there were educated people in downtown Durham. The bad food and terrible sangria will do them in soon but how can a decent educated person go to this place and look at communists despots in their face. I grew up in Miami. People risk their lives to come to America, many drowned. His regime is still harming people. Have some character and stand for what's right.

Shouldn't have bothered. Group of friends decided to try Cuban Revolution on the recommendation of others. We should have saved our money and time. The food was mediocre and service slow but friendly. One order was "lost" and came out after everyone else had finished and then it was luke warm.

However, the kicker was one person finding a long hair in the middle of their wrap. The waitress was informed and she informed the manager. After waiting for some time thinking that the manager would make an appearance we asked the waitress to see them. They never came to the table to the table. The person was comp'd for the meal but not addressing the customer once they were asked to see the manager is inexcusable. It tells us that they don't care and if they don't care about hygiene then what else do they not care about?

Will never return to this place.

Great atmosphere. They have a great atmosphere, great tapas menu, and very helpful bartenders who are truthful about the menu. AND.. its really reasonably priced for being right outside of a ball park. $3 Imports on the day of a game?? Heck yeah, I'm going in before hand and having a couple of those!

Nice, not crowded place. Not a bad hang out. There's a beautiful patio seating area overlooking the water fountain, in the courtyard, perfect for sunny days. I got the plantain chips with the garlic ailoli which was quite tasty. Chips were hot and crispy and paired well. This a nice, not crowded, plenty of space. Hostess was friendly, server was attentive. Nice to sit out and read in the sun.

Cuban Revolution is a great place to go get drinks. Cuban Revolution is a great place to go get drinks and some good food for cheap! We went lastnight and they now have draft beer for $3 can't beat the price for a cold one!!!

Great Atmosphere. Other reviewers must have something against a great atmosphere and great food with a heaping amount of Political discourse thrown in. It's a cool place. We like it.

had a nice time. Wondered why all the negative reviews until we figured out that none of the reviewers have pictures, usually a sign that former employees have a grudge...lol...we really had a nice time there and LOVE the beer prices $3.00 for all their draft beers!! We will definately be returning for more tapas and cocktails before a Bulls game.

BEST plasma tvs i have ever seen. Cuban Revolution is beautiful and the food is AAA+++. Nothing like it in Durham or for that matter Raleigh. It's an ecletic mix of American and Latino with a bit of hippie and chic thrown in with political messages surrounding you as you dine. WOW. Spent a great time at the bar which is stunning. Also, by FAR, BEST plasma TV sets in a restaurant setting I have ever seen. Fried green beans and maduras kick.
