Best Customer Service and product selection ever!. First of all, the coffee and tea are THE best I have EVER had! The baristas are amazing! The lunch is great. The atmosphere is fantastic! The grocery items are so unique. They made me a wonderful gift basket with stuff I picked out right then and there! It feels like Christmas in the movies when you walk in there during the holidays. I love to go and get a cup of tea and sit in the tucked away loft upstairs, listen to the jazz they have on play on the wireless internet and snack on all the goodies they have to offer. It is so unusual to have a truly well meshed grocery/coffee/restaurant/old world butcher shop/kid friendly place and still have a ma and pop feel. I adore the place. Also, they have a fancy wine dinner on Friday nights that makes for a great date place.

great food, wine, and service. If you are looking for just that place, then I have found it for you. It is Fowler's Food and Wine in downtown Durham. These people have got it down, the wine selection and beer are the best i have seen in the Triangle. The deli and take home foods are wonderful and i have never come apon a grocery dept that has such fun and hard to find items. If you have not been try it out the coffee and Wi-Fi are perfect for that get away work day and let me tell you the service is out of this world. My wife called them for a catering job the other day and i have to say i was impressed yet again. the website is even fun to view, lots of news and up-to-date sales, classes and specials.

Gourmet food store, sandwich shop and meeting place all rolled into one.. In Short
It's a place to have lunch, chat with friends over a glass of wine and pick up top-shelf pantry items. Fowler's of Durham is chock-full of hard-to-find imported items (check out the cheese selection) and offers casual dining at the cafe with an outdoor patio for warm afternoons. Paninis and pastries are also offered.

wine,wine,more wine. Great selection of wine and the best prices in NC. Also the biggest selection of Champange in the triangle.
