CAN'T BE OUTDONE. BEST FREAKING HOT DOGS I'VE EVER HAD!! DAUGHTER GOT A BURGER AND LOVED IT... Do yourself a favor and ck this place out...Wish we lived closer...it would be our weekly treat..Family friendly..Owner is the nicest guy i've ever come in contact with...It's like stepping back in time to the days when people cared about the customer. AND THE SHAKES CANNOT BE COMPARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed. When Kings first opened I thought they had the best burger in town, but now I feel like it is one of the worse. The past two times I have been I have been extremely disappointed in both the service and the taste. Our burgers have been dry, lacked flavor, and burnt in some areas. Also in the past two times it has taken forever to get our food. In both cases I have received my food, but still have to wait for quite some time for my girlfriend to receive hers. The past time we went to Kings they also got our order wrong! I won't be going back to Kings anytime soon.

A BULL'S GAME AND A HOT DOG - WOW!!. I was a frequent visitor to Kings's (when I could afford a hot dog and coke) in the 60's. What a pleasent surprise to learn that they are open again. I live in Atlanta now and have not had a chance to visit the "new" King's so can't give much of a review. However, if it is anywhere near as good as it was way back then, and I'm hoping it is, I will be hooked again.

Still Great After All These Years. I remember visiting King's Sandwich shop more than 35 years ago... back when I was a wee one... and hotdogs were 25 cents. A lot has changed, but these dogs are still among Durham's best. Yum. As a kid I never knew it had a name other than The Hot Dog Stand. I lived for Friday nights when Mom and Dad would pack us kids up and head into "town" for hot dogs at "The Ball Park." Don't miss King's Sandwich shop... their pound cake is mighty good, too.
