Good location / atmosphere, decent food. Pretty cool place on the inside, especially if you're into the sports bar thing. The pizza sauce, though, seems watered down, although it tastes good. We got a french bread pizza once, and the bread was soggy from the watery sauce. I also ordered wings, and the blue cheese was more like blue milk. Kinda gross. The wings were a bit dry, too, but maybe I just like a lot of sauce. Lots of options for pizza toppings, though, so that's a plus.
Good Sports & Bad Service. Satisfaction is a good place to watch a variety of sports on lots of TV. The pizza is mediocre - there are many much much better places for pizza in Durham. We experienced poor service (took 15 min to notice our arrival, 15 minutes to get our first drink, and our pizza was delivered initially to the adjacent table), I'll qualify this by saying we came to the conclusion that it must be our waiter's first week as waitstaff. Additionally, I was served a beer that I was told was "the best on tap" which I believe was either switched out with Budweiser or was skunked.
I would have to be drunk.... My husband and I, along with our two year old stopped in for a quick lunch on a Sunday. My husband had been here for lunch previously and said the sandwiches were good. This place had terrible service. Our server was much more concerned about the big party next to us that guaranteed an 18% tip and large alcohol tab to be attentive to our little table of 3. We sat there for several minutes before she took our drink order and then ignored me later when I asked for silverware when our food came. My poor son's food was disgusting. His hamburger was burnt and his mini hot dog looked like it was 5 days old. My food was average (how hard is it to cook a cheeseburger?) but I was so turned off with the service and the fact that the manager was hanging over our table half of our meal to figure out the remote for the tv's. I will definitely not be back.
Nice plasma TVs, great food, great everything!!!!.
If you want good food, great service, and awesome night life......Satisfaction is the answer. I have been there about five times and every time I go I have a better experience. Day or night it's a great place to watch sports games (they have 15 plasma tvs throughout the restaurant), drink with friends, or sing karaoke (on saturday). I am a NC State student but I always feel welcome there even though its near Duke. I also like this bar/restaurant because there is tons of room. Although the bar is usually packed, you don't feel too crowded or smell smoky when you leave. I am a huge fan of buffalo chicken and I crave their buffalo chicken wraps. I know this sounds pathetic, but my friends and I drive there sometimes just to get those..haha. And of course the pizza is dank............oh yeah that greek chicken is soo good.
Soo...if your in durham or not, you should definitely check out Satisfaction. Oh and also get a T-shirt...they are nice to rock out in!!
holla....Go Sats!
I heart Satisfaction!. Satisfaction is by far one of my favorite places to go. I don't even live in Durham, but I choose to travel there because I love this place so much. The staff is super friendly and outgoing. I've never been there and not received excellent customer service. I've tried many of their menu items and have yet to find one that I dislike. The pizza is like none other and the chicken wrap is abolutely heaven. During the day and late evening it seems to be a good place for family and groups, while in the late pm it has quite the nightlife. My friends and I thoroughly enjoy karaoke, even if the occassional person sings Hannah Montana! What makes for a better girls night out than good food, strong drinks, and karaoke?
Terrible Management, nastier food.. My daughter went there today.....she and two friends. They were charged gratuity even though the menu clearly states parties of six or more or checks over 75.00. When she asked why the management told her, "because we can!" We teach our daughter to tip as I was in food service for over 20 years. She was told teenagers don't tip....while this may be true you cannot punish one for the actions of others. My husband called Staten....the so-called manager......He hung up on him! BTW I work in local government and my husband works for Duke. We are both college educated homeowning folks who happen to be black....there was never attitude given but much was received. I, my co-coworkers and anyone else I can contact, will never set foot in there again!
customers beware.
After my experience last night, I suggest to go to another spot. Why? Well, the managers seem to lack professionalism at ever level. I made a legitimate complaint about my bill, and the manager failed to acknowlege my complain, and just raised her voice and even cursed. I guess being the fact that I am a minorty, she thought I would be behaive in a certain way, and figured her behavior would simply mirror mine, which that was not the case at all. Either ways, it never feels good to be stereotyped. You can't get into every fight with every irate person that comes your way, but you can oust them.
ps. The manager is an older woman with long hair, she can't be missed, customers beware!!!!
Unique pizza, chill atmosphere. Their pizza is very good, and truly unique. Their menu is varied, and has a lot of strengths including their cookie sundae. Yum. We go here to watch duke basketball games and the atmosphere is very relaxed. And, I am so excited to know they are open on sundays now.
Good pizza, great happy hour place...but service is sometimes shady. I almost lost my appetite when a large waitress with 7 face piercings came to take my order..... and then there's the fellow who prides himelf on being rude and flamboyant- that type of service doesn't fly anywhere.
Great pizza in the triangle. We've been going here for over 15 years (since before they moved to the current location) and it's always had absolutely great pizza and wonderful service. I would recommend with high marks going for the food - not the "sports" bar part. The beer is always cold and the pizza comes out steaming hot every single time. Kid friendly even with the drinking. Diverse crowd from college to business folks and families.
