Great braiding, great people!

Great people and braiding! They put movies on the tv which made the braiding go by very fast. I got senegalese twists. They braid a little bit first before they twist (unless you note otherwise) which makes the twist last much longer. Also, if you get your hair braided there they will wash it for FREE after a couple of weeks. Great service overall..i will definitely be going back again!

GREAT, LOVED IT !

I loved this place, the service was awesome! They were very professional. Yes they did talk in their native tongue to each other, but they were not rude at all. I really enjoyed my experience and my braids looked great!!! They did a wonderful job! I have alot of thick hair but it only took about 5 hours to do my micros! I will be going back. I have been telling all my friends and anyone who asked where I got my braids done to go to Nubian Briads!

Love love love this place!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stop talking about how awesome this place is.when I walked in I was greeted warmly and offered something to eat and drink.the women there made sure that I was comfortable at all times and my hair was done so quickly.I received small box braids that I wanted longer than normal, but they whipped through it in 4 hours (normally takes about 7-10). But I can't gush about everything and leave out the the quality of work-impeccable!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best braids that ive ever received!!!!!!!!I've never tipped a braided in my life but I definitely did this time - I WILL be going back!!!!!!!!!!

SONYA, IS THE BEST STYLIST THAT I HAD DO MY BRAIDS I'VE BEEN TO SEVERAL PLACES, THAT BRAIDED MY HAIR AND FATIMAS DOES THE BEST JOB THESE AFRICIANS ARE VERY POLITE, AND FRIENDLY\ AND THEY TRY TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH YOU, YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT, AND IF SONYA WON'T GET YOU IN THAT DAY SHE WILL TRY TO GET YOU IN SOME TIME THAT DAY OR THE NEXT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE....

Best micros I ever had

I love their micros, I went to African World Of Braids on Fayetteville St. and got the worst braids, the middle was huge. I've been going to Fatimas since 2002 and they are now called Nubian Hair Braiding.

• Pros: The braids were really professional
• Cons: Parking is terrible, their located downtown
