In Short – The original museum already features attractions like the Apollo 15 moon lander, Megamaze and petting zoo, but Durham's Museum of Life and Science also built a butterfly house, complete with the Magic Wings tropical butterfly conservatory, seasonal Carolina Butterfly Pavilion and the Aventis CropScience insectarium. Almost every exhibit has some kind of hands-on component.
