William from Wavelengths SALVAGED A HORRIFIC haircut I received from Rock Paper Scissors! I just moved to Durham from Dallas, where you can always find great stylists. I was devastated when a stylist from Rock Paper Scissors gave me layers that were so blunt on a short haircut that I nearly cried! Luckily, a friend recommended William at Wavelengths, whom, I must say, is pretty talented. I would say my cut is comparable to what I would get at Toni & Guy. Ladies, you're going to get what you pay for.

Kanha (Tanya w/ a K) not only gives the best facials-she waxes and does threading as well! Her eyelash extensions are wonderful too! Love Kanha-she is great!

MEREDITH OAKLEY IS GREAT. My cousin is an amazing hair stylist. She knows exactly what I like. She gives me her opinion about color and what type of hair cut I want and then she lets me pick which one I like. She is very friendly and she also has a great personality. I recommend her to all of my friends and even people I don't know. I will not be getting anyone to cut, trim, or color my hair besides her. So EVERYONE go see Meredith Oakley!

JAMI IS AMAZING!!!!!!. My husband and I went to Jami for Highlights and my husband for a mens cut. I was unsure about what I wanted for my own hair when I got there, but she new exactly what she was talking about and lead me in the right direction! My color and cut looked amazing and the highlights made all the difference!!!!

As for my husband he wanted something completely different. She asked him a few questions and then based upon his responses gave him an awesome cut!

WE ARE BOTH TRULY HAPPY AND WILL RETURN!!!!

Terri is AWESOME!. I just chopped off about 8 or 9 inches off my hair... I was really nervous about it. I explained to Terri what I wanted and I got exactly that. She was very patient with me, loving, creative, and precise! Well done, Terri! And I really enjoyed talking to her as well.

Brittany is GREAT!. Brittany is seriously THE best! I moved here in 2009, "googled" some hair salons, Wavelengths popped up, read some reviews on her and what she specialized in (pretty much everything) and felt comfortable enough to give her a shot! I haven't gone to anyone else since, well once, because she was out sick that day! She REALLY understands what I want when I inarticulately try to explain what I'd like... She does an amazing job on highlights, cut and color. She is a perfectionist, so if she's not satisfied she will make sure it's perfect before you leave. She is very flexible when it comes to staying a little later than her normal hours, but make sure to call ahead for an appointment, this girl books fast! I always tell my girlfriends about Brittany. I've even taken my mom (who's from Florida) to see her, and my mom still asks when she can come visit so she can make an appointment with Brittany!

Brittany @ Wavelengths. Brittany is a young and talented stylist at Wavelenths. I have been going to her for more than a year. She gives a great haircut and tries very hard to give her customer the look that she/he is trying to achieve. She is organized, keeps a notebook for a history of cuts, color treatments, products for reference. Brittany is flexible and gives a great haircut and service to all her clients--young guys, older guys, young women, older women. Her following has grown tremendously over the past two years. Like I said, this girl has talent!

William is an artist dedicated to his work.. I have to say that I got the best New Year's eve gift and makeover ever! William McBroom was one of the most professional, most dedicated people I have met. He listened to my ideas and performed a meticulous haircut on my thick curly hair. I have to say this is the first time I had my curly hair cut dry, but the results were great!!! I love the haircut. He does take his time and you will feel pampered and well taken care of in the end. (So don't go in for a 5-minute haircut!). It was a true true pleasure and I highly recommend him as a stylist. The rest of the Wavelengths team is truly wonderful, with very talented and very professional staff. Please go!

Sherry Stanley,owner of Wavelengths is amazing.. My hair is very curly and difficult to manage. Sherry cut my hair using the Quidad method. She spent two hours making sure each curl was shaped perfectly. Then she trained me on how to style my hair to keep the curls bouncy. Sherry's cut looks even better than the one I got at the Quidad salon in NY several years ago. My husband and kids say my hair has never looked better and that the cut makes me look at least five years younger. I am thrilled. The three hour drive to Durham and the cost of a Quidad cut is definitely worth it for anyone with hard to manage curly hair.
