Outstanding customer service! The owner, Sebastian, stands behind his word and warranty 100%.

Highly recommend!

Total ripoff! I was completely taken advantage of and the owner should be ashamed. I usually go to Peace Camera or Southeastern, but I was in Durham, passed by the shop and checked it out. Very quaint and obviously needs the business. I didn't need anything that day, so I made a special trip out there when I needed a 1/4 to 3/8 screw converter. This screw is smaller than a thimble. I ask for it, he gets one out of a small baggie, and just says 5 dollars. Since I'd never bought one of these, I figured that they must be hard to order and 5 dollars must be correct. A week ago, I was in Southeastern camera, and I saw a package of these screws, 8 of them, to be specific, for 4.95!!!!! And it's obvious now that the owner at CameraWorks saw someone who didn't know any better and decided to take advantage of him for 5 measly dollars. Anyone who could be that petty is not worth giving business to!

Did a great job. I do admit that it did take some time to repair my camera, but the job was done right the first time. I have had my digital camera back for almost 1 year and it is still working great.

Terrible Customer Service and Repair. BEWARE! First off, when you are told you are going to be called back, they don't. A digital camera with nothing wrong other then the LCD screen being broke was taken in. A week went by and no call back with a quote. Took 2 weeks to get just a quote! Then repair is authorized and they "will call". Again no call for over a week. This continues on back and forth for over a month! Finally it is told that they couldn't repair it and would need to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. Terribly frustrated by then authorization is denied, just give it back. Keep in mind the camera worked fine except for the LCD when given to this shop. When received back from the shop it no longer worked at all!!! Had the camera still worked it was damaged from where the shop obviously was trying to pry parts off of it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. CAN'T RETURN CALLS. UNTIMELY SERVICE. DAMAGED ITEM EVEN MORE!
