Okay, so here I am pulling out of TJMaxx at 6:50 PM on Friday night when my engine light and my EPC light both come on. Yikes! I am from out of town visiting for the weekend with my wife and two small children. I remembered Southern States VW, where my wife used to get her oil changed. I showed at the service door, with no appointment, shortly before 8 AM and met "Little Ronnie". My experience was superior. From the moment I showed up to the moment I left, I felt like I was taken care of like a family member. In only two hours, they had diagnosed and replaced the defective part on my 2012 VW CC. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! Thanks for helping me out in a tough situation!

Southern States is the first dealership
where I don't mind having their emblem on the back of our new car. They were great!!
Before coming to Southern States, we contacted their assistant internet sales manager, Anita, about their inventory of Passat TDIs (these are in high demand and most dealerships only have 1-2 on the lot) and to see if we could get a deal on the sticker price listed on-line. She responded immediately and offered a very fair discount off the advertised sticker price. Because of that, we scheduled a test drive and Keith Hutchins was our sales person. He rocked...he gave us a thorough test drive of both the Passat TDI and the Jetta diesel. He was not only knowledgeable about both vehicles, but during the test drive, he had us do various maneuvers to highlight the handling and safety features of the Passat and Jetta. It was not your typical test drive and that was a very good thing. Keith wasn't pushy or arrogant, as we experienced at other dealerships (e.g., Leith VW in Cary).
We decided to purchase the VW Passat TDI, but they didn't have the color we wanted on the lot. Even so the Passat TDI is selling like hotcakes everywhere, Keith and Anita worked hard and they were able to find a silver Passat TDI in D.C., that was then delivered to Southern States. We worked with Mitch in financing, who is both friendly, enthusiastic and approachable. Plus, he was able to get the financing we wanted.
All in all, everyone at Southern States VW (Keith, Anita, Mitch) were great to work with...I can't say enough good things about them. I encourage you to go there over the other VW dealerships in Raleigh and Cary...at Southern States we got just solid information and professionalism.

I am a new customer to this dealership recently moved here. In my last two experiences here I have been treated like royalty.I would be happy to give this dealer an excellent testimonial. I had a check engine light and various electrical bugaboos that were butchered by an independent shop (you live & learn) while trying to "save money". Although it took an extra day than what I had anticipated, I'm happy they took extra time to fix it right. Sam the service manager saved me time and money and treated me professionally throughout.

This was a perfect buying experience
from beginning to end. Rod Miller was courteous professional and helpful. The salesman Artur B was the best I have encountered. He was attentive and listened to my needs. His explanation of the car and test drive sold me. He followed up and made me feel important. Handling the paperwork with Chavis was a pleasure as well. I had a thorough explanation of all documents and felt comfortable with the process. I received a visit in the dealership from the general manager and felt a genuine interest in my experience.
I have purchased a lot of cars. This experience by far was the best. I will be back and will send friends and family. Thank you Southern States.
