Good food but great Margaritas !!!

Go for the food which isn't bad but, please do yourself a favor and stay for the Margaritas...

Ask your wait staff for a Pitcher of Half & Half Margarita... Roll your eyes at this post if you want but, trust and believe. Ask for the 1/2 and 1/2 Margaritas. 1/2 frozen and 1/2 on the rocks but, be sure to ask them to hold the Ice.

They have high turn over on the wait staff so a number of them have not heard of it before however, the Bartender knows how to make it.

Most people wouldn't know the taste of the real authentic mexican food, but this is the closest to it and in all reguards and respect to those that have gave a negative rating, You need to try it again as a longtime guest they do aknowledge me when I walk in by first name, there are not many restaurants that do thi, I do love the food, atmosphere, service, and the idea that kids are treated much better than 90% of restaurants here in the triangle. I highly recommend this cafe...

Sorry to say, but I've had much better Mexican food from a TV dinner. The drinks we had were watered down and the service was fair at best. I shall not return - even for free.....

Great place for mexican food

I have frequented this place for the past three years and never have I been here on a "bad" night. The food is always hot, the chips and salsa always bottomless, and the service always impeccable. If you like chicken and have a hearty appetite I would go with the Pollo Magnifico - superb! The apple crisp dessert is fantastic as well! This place just got a face-lift about a month ago and looks fantastic! If you want mexican food and you want it fast in a nice, clean setting check out On the Border.

great service, okay food

basically a mcdonald's of mexican food, on the border shines with their service. our waitress was attentive and when our food came out too fast not only did the runner apologize and say that he would bring new plates out when we were ready, the waitress and manager did the same. the bar clients are entertaining as a side note. the food is nothing special.
