I never complain BUT
by ratherbnPhilly at Citysearch
Had soles replaced on Redwings 1st time and Rockport orignal sole reglued, paid $120. Two weeks later both pair had sole's come apart, brought back, reglued. Two weeks later both coming apart again. They were definitely not happy to see me. All the early charm was gone as well as being able to speak English. At pickup Redwings were reglue but not the Rockports. He pointed to the name "Rockport" on the sole meaning he didn't replace that sole and I assume had forgotten he had charged me to reglue it. Again poor English was presented with utterances of "Enough Enough" to my bewilderment. Ps I had also bought pricey inserts, a first time $150 customer and last time of course.

All other positive reviews are accurate imo. Please know that they offer a wide variety of inserts which I found especially helpful for my tennis shoes. Meaning, I buy expensive workout shoes only to learn that the inserts are made to last but 90 days. I received incredible assistance in selecting replacement inserts from their wide selection. So whether you are repairing expensive shoes for business dress or keeping a pair of workout shoes in top shape, visit this highly capable and friendly shop.
Excellent service

Very friendly greeting as soon as I came in the door. Was treated as a valued customer and seemed they were truly glad to offer service.
I needed my shoes back sooner than normal turnaround time and they were able to meet my timeline.
Quality of craftsmanship was excellent. My shoes haven't looked this good in years.
Next time I won't wait so long to get new soles.
- Pros: very friendly; timely service
- Cons: none
Excellent work

I brought in a pair of zip-up boots with a broken zipper. Replacing it was a very complicated job without much room to work. 1-2-Shoe Renew did a great job. The only way to tell them apart is that the repaired boot is much easier to zip up than the other.
- Pros: friendly, reasonable prices, quick service
- Cons: none
AMAZING shoe repair!

My dog completely destroyed my favorite pair of shoes and the nice woman at 1-2 shoe was able to restore them! They looked as good as new! I couldn't believe it! The woman who works there is also nice and helpful. She also helped me find insoles to place in another pair of my shoes, which successfully stopped my shoes from rubbing on the back of my feet. I strongly recommend this place!
