Poor Customer Service. I tried Brigs At The Park this afternoon for the first time this afternoon. At 11:30, it was busy, but I was greeted at the door by a very hurried hostess asking how many. When she showed me to a table, she literally threw the menu on the table from about two feet away, turned around, said "Enjoy" with a sarcastic tone, and stormed back to the front. Although I understand the restaurant was busy, I felt that the hostess was especially rude, and that management should be embarrased to have someone on staff with those customer service skills. I didn't stay - although I've heard great things about the food, my appetitie was forever turned off to Brigs after that incidence.
Bland , Service Not great. Average- I have had friends rave about Brigs food.Today, was my first time visiting. I ordered the Waldorf Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was to sweet for my taste and a little bland. The server seemed to be rushing us out the door. I admit the food was very pleasing to look at on the plate but was bland. Maybe another dish would have been a better choice.
Excellent Spinach Salad!. Actually, I have yet to have a bad meal here at Brigs. Their breakfasts are off the charts, their omlets are unbelievable, and that's just breakfast...lunch...just as good if not even BETTER. For sure the ones to try are their Gyro, their Spinach salad, their trio plate, their broccoli salad, their chicken waldorf salad....should I go on? You will love this place. Great for conversations with one or three people. Excellent atmosphere to truly enjoy your meal. I highly recommend this place. Certainly give it a try.!
Breakfast Anytime!. I love eating breakfast. Not only can I choose to eat breakfast when visiting Brigs at the Park; but, its always tasty and a great portion for your money. There is no other way I can enjoy my food but in a relaxing atmosphere and believe me -- it is a relaxing and quaint atmosphere. I love it!!!
Plenty of breakfast options in RTP..
In Short
It's the "nice place" to dine for lunch in RTP, and though the food is quite good ambience evokes a formal feel. There is one extensive menu to select from, and it is served all day. You never thought there were so many options for breakfast: eggs Benedict, served with grits or home fries and fresh fruit, Alaskan snow crab omelettes, pecan waffles, and rib-eye sandwiches are a few of the classic items offered.
Great little hidden place, best breakfast ever. Every time I go into Brigs I know I'm getting the best quality food around. Everything is always SO fresh and in good quanity. It has that small little diner atmosphere with alot of class added. Some items are a little pricy but the food is every bit worth it. I've never had a bad experience or bad service at brigs. Be prepared for the freshest and best meal ever, but be prepared to wait if it's Sat. or Sun. breakfast/ brunch!.. again every bit worth it.
