Do Not Do Business with Crossroads!. Do not do business with Crossroads European! Bill Aulicino is a criminal and has been convicted of conspiracy to kidnap and has been recently arrested for assault and battery against cyclists in the area! If you don't believe me, do a search for his name online yourself. They have terrible customer service, are rude, disrespectful, and will try to rip you off! I had a horrible experience with them trying to rip me off by over $600. Once I finally got my car towed away from their place, he charged me over $200 for a simple diagnostic.

Beware!. I took my Mini Cooper in after a/c stopped working. I waited 10 minutes while the owner held an extended call. After hearing my problem (and without checking the car), I was told that it was the alternator. I received a quote of $2200 to replace my alternator and my a/c unit. After approving repairs, I waited 3 days. I was told that they were waiting for parts. The price was now going to be $2600! Supposedly, the part was more expensive now than previously discussed. I told them to stop work and I wanted the car back. I was charged $231. I took my car for a second opinion to the dealer. They told me that none of the those parts were defective and that the total repair would be only $800. This is one persons opinion but I would never go there again.

Stay away- plenty of better places. Don't trust what the shop's site says about it being a great place- I am pretty sure they hand-pick those reviews. The owner was just tried in Durham for his second "assault with a deadly weapon charge" in 3 years. Personally I don't like having a guy with a history of violence work on my car. What if there is a difference of opinion?

Awful, strange service. Never again!. As a former customer, I would like to say to folks: take your money elsewhere. Try Massey Brothers down the road, you name it, just anywhere but here. I had one question about a charge on my oil change and minor service and the mechanic referred me to the owner. The owner redirected the conversation to politics and his contempt for foreigners and cyclists. He really was quite aggressive and behaved strangely. If this is how they treat someone with a question on a oil change, how would they treat someone with a more complicated issue with their car? Go elsewhere!

Terrible customer service-would not recommend to anyone. I would also not normally take the time to write a review but I was so disappointed in the customer service that we recieved that I wanted to share my experience. We were visiting Durham from out of town and along the way encountered some problems with our car. We took our car to Crossroads and paid $500 for it to be repaired. On our drive back home the problem started to occur again. We called Bill and told him of the problem-at this point we were 2 hours away from Durham so we decided to try to continue home making frequent stops along the way. We took our car to our normal mechanic once back and discovered that the problem had not been repaired. Crossroads did some work but did not correct the actual problem that we had presented the car for. We contacted Bill again to let him know what our mechanic found and asked that he send a partial refund ($100)to be fair-acknowledging that he had performed some labor and we would pay for that. He refused to compensate us in any way. We were greatly disappointed in the manner that he chose to handle this situation and would not refer them to anyone.
