The Staff is Awesome

I live near Southpoint and for over a year have drove by this unassuming Bean Trader Coffee House, but to my delight I stopped in. The coffee is good, as good as any others I have been to in the area, but I think the staff is what set it apart. I had decided to purchase some coffee beans and was helped by a knowledgeable gentleman... he knew all about the beans and gave me some wonderful suggestions. I have been back many times due to the service and the coffee been quality. This place has saved me from having to drive to "Southern Season" (which is always so crowded) in Chapel Hill, plus it's less expensive. Thanks for all your help guys.
- Pros: Great Service and good coffee bean quailty.
- Cons: Latte and mixed drinks could use a little help, better Fair Trade selection would be nice
Good Coffee near a Gym by H. R. at InsiderPages

Bean Trader has ice coffee that I really like. The prices are not to bad either. The only draw back to this location is it's near a gym and everyone wants a shot of coffee to start their day off. So be patient, it's worth the wait.
BEST COFFEE IN TOWN - BEAN TRADERS = FAMILY

Best coffee in town, hands down! When you walk into Bean Traders you feel like you are visiting family that you love and friends that you can't get enough of. Bean Traders is very personable, the coffee house equivalent to "Cheers". Bean Traders is definately not your run of the mill coffee shop, they offer little things like seasonal raffles, fun coffee flavors and chocolate covered esspresso beans! There's no place like Bean Traders!
- Pros: The baristas will get to know you and make you feel at home
- Cons: It can be a little busy in the morning but the line moves quickly and it's worth the wait!

I love this palce. I am only in it for 30 seconds every morning, but they got great friendly owners and staff! The coffee is always superb. I see the same customers every day at the same time. That tells you somthing. The music is always cool too. Machine Gun, at 7:00 am, Stones , Neil Young, ect. They are wayyyyy better than Starbucks. Try this place out. I have turned everybody at work onto them .
- Pros: Great staff
- Cons: Parking is a hassle somtimes because of the gym.
My local favorite

I've been going to my neighborhood Bean Traders for years. Sometimes it's just for a quick coffee on the go, and sometimes, like I'm doing right now, to have a vanilla latte and a bagel and work from my laptop over their wi-fi hotspot. And a little while later I'll take home a pound of organic fair trade coffee, which they roast on site. The place is friendly, comfortable, and reliable. I only wish they'd add orange juice to the menu, so I could get my morning o.j. along with my coffee.
- Pros: Wif-fi hotspot, variety of good coffee and tea and other drinks, service, ambience
- Cons: Limited food offerings
A fully loaded drink menu and a few playful touches give this coffee shop its edge.

In Short
A giant coffee roaster rests in one corner of the shop, while art (all of it for sale), decorates coffee-colored walls. Lining the shelves are dozens of coffee bean-filled glass containers bearing unlikely names like "Grandma's Graham Cracker" and "Mudd Slide," as well as the more expected "French Roast." Though geared mostly for the to-go customer, the shop has a few tables for those who want to sit and stay.
Even the Decaf Rocks

The plain old coffee is smooth and sassy. So many great flavors to choose from, in regular and decaf. Be sure to listen to the great music they play. The owners and their staff are a delight. They make you feel like you're family (in a good way) and never take the snobby Charbucks route. For kids, the cocoa is superb. The sticky buns are beyond decandent with more incredible frosting than the law allows.
- Pros: friendly staff, decaf flavors, hip hangout
- Cons: strip mall location

Their coffee is wonderful, they make the most consistently creamy latte I have ever had. Even better though may be their selection of danishes, muffins, and breads.
If you go not only will your food be wonderful but a friendly sales person awaits you as well.
- Pros: coffee, customer service, food

The best thing I can say about this place is the consistency. I always know I'll be able to find a good cup of coffee, roasted to perfection. Christy and Dave really know what they're doing and really care about the product, which is evident in the continued excellence.
The only caveat; it's so far from my house in Apex :)
- Pros: Consistency, Knowledgeable staff, Friendly service
- Cons: None
Like no other!

Christy and Dave have created a comfortable coffee shop without the snobishness of that "other" coffee place. They are friendly, and serve a wicked bean. The rotation of the available types of coffee and variety of pastries, cookies, etc. will keep you coming back.
And if you are luck enough to be there when they are roasting the beans you will understand why BeanTraders is like no other in town!
- Pros: Price, Atmosphere, Friendly
